I was asked to redo this thread, I guess my last thread just died......I hate to say it must have been a slow death..
So here goes, Well my dinner tonight is undetermined yet.
But it has started off good with 2 strawberry margaritas.......

I haven't been cooking too much since I destroyed all the bones in my foot. The scooter i have to use is allergic to the stove.
We had pizza tonight.

I have a roast cooking in the oven right now, with potatoes, mushrooms and onions. Going to make baked macaroni and cheese, broccoli and dinner rolls to go with it.
When it's ready I am going to serve it to a friend of mine and watch a stupid Larry the Cable Guy movie with him while we eat.
All because I lost a bet I should never have made.

Haven't had Checkers in a long time. Love their fries.
It's almost 8 and I haven't had anything yet, so it's looking like dinner will be some cheez-its. We had a luncheon catered by a local BBQ place at work today, so I've had plenty for today anyway.

I went to meet someone once and found out through a friend he had women to meet3 women to meet at that place. They get all excited about talking to more women than they ever had and then end up with no one
I just look at it as a step to meeting the right one. After not dating in 25yrs it takes gut to just go meet someone. Don't give up. Just have fun.
I think I will have shrimp tonight. May make some gumbo. Never tried to cook that.

Once every couple of weeks or so, I make a good size pot of homemade soup. Recently I have done:
Minestrone
Sausage and peppers soup
French onion
Tomato dill
JCOR is the head chop and dice guy. I sit on a tall kitchen chair and over see the soup cooking.
The soup gets eaten with meals for 3-4 days then gets put in 1.5 quart containers in the freezer with labels. You get to have a choice of home made soup when you are in the mood for soup or a light meal. Minestrone with tuna sandwiches for dinner tonight. All I had to do was decide which one to take out of the freezer to thaw and heat.
