A great setting with a dance floor, plenty of parking, 455+ capacity should allow PLENTY OF ROOM for everyone.

Live Entertainment

There will also be a D.J. in between sets and drink specials announced.
This band is singles friendly. They know who were are, love us and are working with us to make sure we have a good time. They take song requests too.

There is a $5.00 cover charge that goes to pay the band. Let the staff know that you are with DATEHOOKUP when you arrive so that you will receive a special wrist band or beads letting others know you are with the group.

Everyone above the age of 21 is invited and we usually get a very diverse crowd. If you are single and looking to meet someone, that is the criteria.

Sign up on the event thread to let others know you are coming and also make sure the staff is prepared for us. We draw a crowd so it does make a difference.

If you haven’t been to any of the singles events in the past there are several benefits to attending. You get to meet a whole lot of the very same singles that you might end up chatting with online. You get to see the REAL them before committing to any random date. If you meet 20 people at an event it’s like going on 20 of those little meet and greet coffee dates all in one night. Already have someone(s) that you have been talking to online that you’ve been thinking about meeting? Direct them to one of the events. It saves time, money and the painful letdown when that first meet doesn’t pan out. There are success stories at most every event. I went to a wedding myself last weekend from one of my parties 3 years ago. GMTA. If you are looking you will find like minded people there too.

These parties do go from town to town. I’m looking at the Virginia, Baltimore/Annapolis area/Frederick/ Hagerstown area for the next ones.
FYI- sign up to one of my events and you will always be invited to all others regardless of proximity.

Feel free to invite all of your friends. The more the merrier. It's primarily a singles crowd.

Don't forget to tell them that you are with one of the singles groups when you come in the door. They are giving out orange wrist bands to distinguish the singles from the general public.

They are will also be givnig away a door prize and jagar sponsors this band so there might be some additional giveaways and drink specials.

If the sign ups are low here don't let that deter you form coming out. There are nearly 400 RSVP's from all of the invitations sent out collectively. We should have a pretty decent crowd.

Thought I'd update everyone that we now how 550 RSVP's from the other singles site in addition to the 54 here. I'm figuring at least a couple of hundred singles in addition to the regular crowd.

IT WAS A DISASTER !
I arrived at about 8:30 PM. The band was supposed to start plying at 9:00 PM. They didn’t start plying till well after 10:00 PM.
Bad very loud, recorded music played till the band started. Nobody danced. They just stood around on the dance floor in the way. When the music did start few people danced. The band was not particularly talented but very loud. It was very hard to Meet and talk to anyone.

I go dancing at other places and have no problems. I asked 7 ladies to dance in a 20 min time period to dance and was turned down by all 7 of them. Tried talking to others with no luck. It was a very un-friendly crowd. No wonder no one can get a date off the Internet.

I left at 11:00 PM and went to Cancun Cantina and had a great time. They had two Bands ine inside and one outside. No problem meeting people and dancing there.
