I have been told to right click on the player window when it does this, and deselect hardware acceleration, but no such option exists for my player. I have Win8, IE 10. I have emptied the Adobe flash player cache, I have activated add ons (not that there was anything relevant to add, but I did it). I have tried everything that everyone has suggested, except refresh my PC , or restore- I can't restore because I never saved at any point to restore to. I only have Refresh to try, but I will lose all my apps I downloaded since I got my laptop. I do not want to do that. Can anyone help me with this?

Do a backup of all your apps, external or cloud storage
What kind of video card do you have?
If you want a computer specific to playing games, up the RAM, memory, video card

No , I don't want a computer for playing games. My problem was with videos, You Tube flash player type videos wouldn't play. My Power DVD player also wouldn't work. I talked to someone on the Windows Face Book page and eventually solved the problem by downloading some drivers and other stuff, but I don't know exactly what fixed it. There were 12 updates available and I downloaded them all, but I don't know which one worked.

Those 12 updates probably played a part in another update
