I didn't realize it when it happened but I got to spend Christmas with my best friend and his family in 2005. He was home on leave from Iraq. He had been in the Navy since he was 18. He left to go back on January 5th and lost his life in combat on February 7th. You know it was one of those times you have that you take for granted. You believe you will see everyone the next Christmas or even the next day. He was only 34. Though, I know I will see him again in Heaven. It is a joy to remember and reflect every Christmas on the times we spent together and the millions of laughs we shared. This Christmas cherish every moment with your loved ones and remember Jesus Christ is the Reason for All Seasons!

So sorry about your good friend- xmas time is great for reflecting back on the good, positive things in your life time- your wife- your children- your grandchildren- doing things together as a family- close friends- having victory when you thought you were not even close- prayer for those that are less fortunate, handicapped, mental illness- if we sometimes feel sorry for ourselves we should take a look around us, and really see how prosper we are- we as a nation must never forget why we celebrate xmas, and what our lord has done for us- please remember to tell your children the real reason we celebrate the best holiday of the year- merry xmas, and may you have many more-----
