Ate supper at K&W yesterday evening. Drunk plenty of sweet tea. Yum, yum. Was sorta made to feel bad before i left. Been having a hard time getting around with this Arthritis and complaining some with pain. Seen this old man, late 70 or early 80's going to bathroom. He was on a walker and stooped over from the waist down. He barely took one little baby step at a time. I thought to myself, you think you have got troubles. Was reminded of what my Dad use to say, " I complained about not having shoes until i met a man that had no feet ". Guess we are more fortunate than we think.

I'm sure it will give me what I have wanted for a long time. What I like about it is, I can go and come when I wanna. I will visit there to find what I want. Talked to a few Realtors, they have some nice Affordable places.

It does give you a new lease on life to be around the ocean...But I love Water anywhere and we have beautiful lakes here......Nothing beats the breeze off the ocean though...

......My son is trying to get into the D.J. business. That has been his dream for a while. His main thing is all about the oldies. He has boo coo's of 50's, 60's and 70's rock music. He also does an impersonation of Wolfman Jack, the famous D.J. who was popular and hosted the Midnight Special. To my surprise, he does a great job. The only trouble, there's not a lot of demand for the oldies. Lots of people like it, but are not as crazy about it as i am. I told him he might have to go to a big city before he does any good.

Not preaching--But- we do need to pray more for a better AMERICA--Those people overseas hate us--I say "GET THE H+++ OUT AND LET THEM KILL EACH OTHER" if that's their desire...We need to elect a good man to save us.....and there are a few out there to choose from......

There are stations here that play only oldies and that's generally what I keep car radio on to---Look around and see if there's a station that is not one of the regular stations that you could have a program on --"would be interesting" My ole time favorite was W.C.K.Y. CINCINATTI OHIO---and Wolfeman Jack was known everywhere too...

.....I always listen to the oldies when i can find a station playing them. I listen to 98.1, Hillsville, Galax and Mount Airy on Saturday afternoon. They have a show called on the beach with Charlie Brown. They play the ole beach music.

I think Grey Hair on Men is very Handsome. I also think that Ladies with Grey Hair looks Lovely. But, some of use are set in our ways and need to Cover the Grey. My Mother never believed in coloring your hair. She started turning Grey in her 40's. She always told me..That God made your Hair the Color he wanted it to be.

My First year not to help out at my Granddaughter's Field Day at School. I just don't do well now with being out in Hot Weather for LONG periods of time. I can be outside in the Sun for a while or if there is a Shade Tree...that's not a problem. Love it outside. Can do great at the Beach..there is always a Breeze.

With today being observed as Memorial Day, let's not forget the Veterans that sacrificed so much for us so we could have the freedoms that we now enjoy. I know that sometimes it seems like that American leaders gets us involved in wars that we shouldn't be in, but remember, FREEDOM is the number one thing. I know i enjoy mine. I would serve again to maintain my freedom. Salute to all Veterans.
