dellia74 Hickory, NC 76, joined Jan. 2013	I have always wanted to make a Good Homemade Biscuit..Like my Grandmother did... and Like my Mother did. But, when I made Biscuits they were so hard you could Kill a Mule with them. I haven't tried in years. Today, I was looking at Recipes on the computor. I found one for Creme Cheese Biscuits....so I knew I had a 8 oz bar in the Frig.. I thought, so what, if it don't work I can Trash them..like all the rest. I made them..those are the BEST Biscuits ever. Soft and Tasty. This day will go down in History.

He is not my regular Doctor, but he said to cut my blood pressure pill in half. Got to see my regular Doctor Monday. It's been running in 50's on my bottom number which is not too bad but got in the 40's once yesterday on the bottom number.

Have you always had L/Blood Pressure?? Mine has been a little too high, but found the right Meds., so now it is doing better.

dellia74 Hickory, NC 76, joined Jan. 2013	I wish my B/Pressure was that number. I haven't seen that number for me in years. The Guide lines now for Older people are UP to 150/90. They use to think if B/Pressure went over 130/82 this was High and put them on B/Pressure Meds. The Medical Journal is now saying that the above numbers are OK for us Oldies. Right or Wrong, who knows anymore. I take Med everyday for mine. It stays within range now. Any number 50 (bottom number) or below is to be concern about.

manureman Bluefield, WV 72, joined Mar. 2008	My doctor took me off blood pressure medicene yesterday. He told me to monitor it and come back in a week. He says that sometimes after you have been on it several years, it gets your pressure regulated so you don't need medicene anymore. I hope it works. Just took mine and it was 115/67 and pulse rate was 72. Hope it continues to stay that way.

I thought my PC had a Virus this past week end when it wouldn't pick up my Internet. My G/Son put a very good Virus Protector on it. But, turned out it was the Internet Modem that had died.

Makes me wonder....It said that it could damage the Satelites we have in space that we use for our Electronics. Also, those rays are so HOT..it could fry the Earth. Something to think about, I guess.
