Of all people I would presume you(dragon) to be the least interested in the life of BL.
If you put things into perspective, there are and always have been Bruce Lee's around us. If you simply subtract Bruce's career in show biz, what is left to stand out more so than others who have accomplished what he did?

the truth is that no one ever really accomplished what he did... the movie career aside... the thing i find most interesting is he was not only a revolutionary martial artist but also a philosopher... i would always be a fan for the action movies but i am also a student of the philosophy... not many people take into consideration that he taught asian philosophy in washington state university...

"To me, he is just the jackie chan of his era."
Are you f**king kidding me ?!?!? ... Lee was the first, the best, the pioneer, iconic and legendary hardcore martial arts master, whose films, books, and tv shows broke through racism, traditions, sterotypes and raised the bar for martial art fans worldwide.
Hollywood film stars of the day (Taky Kimura, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Chuck Norris, George Lazenby, Dan Inosanto) paid Lee upwards to $250/hour for training sessions.
Without Bruce Lee, there would NEVER have even BEEN a Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris(whose career Lee launched and started), Van Damme or any of the other great martial artists we know today.
Lee can be attributed to 'Launching the martial arts madness' nearly single-handedly with great films like "The Big Boss" aka "Fists of Fury" (Tang shan da xiong), the film that made him a hero to the Chinese people, the cult classic, "Enter the Dragon" (in which Jackie Chan actually plays a minor role attacking Lee's sister in the film for about 2-3 seconds)
Lee was a rule breaker, and a trend setter, he dared to challenge thousands of years of tradition, by questioning the Chinese martial arts that he had started with, and building on it, studying also american boxing, judo, karate, tang soo do, wrestling, savate and fencing, taking only what was useful from each style for his own. (Jeet Kune Do or 'Way of the Intercepting Fist') He also broke with Chinese tradition by offering to teach anyone, not just people of his race, through the spreading of his style of martial arts and philosophy, he tore down racial and traditional barriers, making martial arts available to the masses.
Lee was the super star that has put the focus on martial arts, where it is at today. Fighters in the UFC today, encompass forms of kicking, boxing, throwing, and wrestling. Lee was already utilizing all of these things (and more) within his own personal style of martial arts called 'Jeet Kune Do' way back in the 60's .
He was a true Innovator who was years ahead of his time with all things in the martial arts.

YOU are kidding yourself. This looks like a copy/paste biography if I've ever read one.
FIRST! BL was no master of wing chun.
SECOND! Choreography is what he taught to other famous actors.
THIRD! IF he was a real wing chun master HE WOULD NOT of changed a style that's been around for how long?
FOURTH! I can't believe you people can't think for yourselves.

My argument is that he was no great martial artist. He was never taught extensively in any discipline.
