5-10 million cat's are put to sleep every year. That's just on cat's

How can we stop this BS?

I say fix them then take them into the wild and let them go live there own life. We shouldn't have to put down any animal.

Would you devote your entire income to this cause, not some but ALL, then lets put all 5-10 million cats in the woods nearest you. That way in 10-15 seconds when their food supply is gone they can come to your place and eat you and your family. Which as feral cats they will learn to do. It may be a way of preventing forest fires, if no woods or forest is safe for any people for around 20 years, or till they all have starved to death. Either way it's a win win deal, please proceed.

OK to each of you. Cat's are the best hunter's in the natural world. Now with that said. Cat's will NOT starve. They hunt over 100 different types of pry. Now about the shots we would have to give them there shots as they are being fixed. That way they won't get sick or spread disease Through out other animals.

Any other comments keep them coming. I have all the answers.

Which is why i advocate spaying and neutering ... It is extremely important to have your pet spaded and neutered... For that reason.. So many end up being abandoned and neglected... We have tons of stray cats.. None of which are spayed or neutered.. They mate like freaking rabbits.. Having litter after litter... And they dont care.. brothers and sister mating with each other.. So basically becomes a colony of stay cats.. Alot of which end up dieing from disease or being ate by dogs.. Alot of neighbors, including us have a dog or dogs... Its sad... In my case it is the woman down the street i blame.. She kept feeding the very first few.. So they all stuck around.. She has several of her own outside cats she brought with her.. Which also were not neutered or spayed.. So then began the stray cat colony... My mom has witnessed one of them get him by a damn car... Ive seen one dead on the side of the road... Its sad ... Just sad... Spay and neuter... I cant express that enuff.. I have a male cat.. Two reason i got him neutered... Bc he will spray ( which is absoulutely a horrible smell ) and in case he ever runs away or escapes outside ( he is a inside cat) i wont have to worry about him contributing to making babies and adding to the cat colony...

I do believe in spaying and neutering but i don't believe in TAKING THEM TO THE WOODS AND DROPPING THEM OFF TO ME THAT IS ANIMAL CRUELTY. BTW WHY NOT TAKE MEN AND DROP THEM OFF AND LET THEM DIE.

That would be ridiculous to "take them to the woods." For one thing, feral colonies don't disappear just because you take the cats out of it. You take one cat out and another one will take it's place. That's why spaying and neutering is imparative to keep the colonies under control.

Hey op why would you be concerned about how many cats there is in this world? Like you say they may be to many and spaying and neutering is an answer. But getting rid of the feral cats will not happen . GOD put them on earth, for a reason, just like he did you and me.

I believe in spay and neuter and if you release them in the wild, you will still be responsible for vaccinations from diseases, vet care, water and food, bedding and protection from the environment and emotional well-being.
There are also vulnerable prey in the wild. Foxes, fisher cats, wolves, dogs, snakes, etc. They will get mauled and harassed.
Humans domesticated them so we are responsible for their care and happiness.
