I will take a look. But remember the key thing is Low sugar intake and High Immunity system.Base a diet on healthy eating with building the immunity system, will see great progress in a short time frame. But going to the rest room regular is required..2 months concentration on diet and Then the exercise can come in.Before exercising we want to get the weight off,and be healthy. Many people mix up fat intake and over eating as the cause of weight gain. The body needs some fats..but not yeast.Yeast is grounds for infection, viruses to grow.It is not in how much you eat,it is in what you eat.Over active yeast is A cause for many things, unneeded surgery, heart attacks, weight gain, acne, sty's,dandrof, infections, foot fungus, muscle pain etc...the list goes on,a bad weight gain of over active yeast is celulite.

The one key thing is having our body filled with healthy food, and going to the rest room regular-men do not go as regular as they should.Over active yeast starts from the pancreas not having the proper vitamins and minerals to function properly,so it starts to turn sugar into yeast, and becomes over active with a low immunity system, for the yeast will cause sugar cravings to make more yeast. The immunity system is only way to get the yeast out of the body through urine and bowl movements, and into the pours to be sweated out also...thecandidadiet.com has a lot of good information on the subject....

also another issue in weight. Some of the weight we carry around in life is dirt -in our pours. Is minor compared to over active yeast. But it happens to the heavey person not taking care of self.Taking showers and sweating is good for the cleaning of the body etc...

My friend my background is in Physical therapy and nutritional counseling and Personal training, if you're serious about losing weight on a steady basis, then it helps to know how your body burns, carbs, fats, proteins, etc, and body metabolism. If you go to my website
http://naturalweightlossthroughscience.weebly.com/ and the follow up site within, for more information about genomics, the study of how genes affect weight loss, you will lose 2x as much as someone on a regular diet. Feel free to contact me for more information, when your done, and if you're real serious.

I too am having loosing the pounds. Ni matter what I do nothing works. Saw a nutritionist and that really had no effect. I changed the way I eat...for the better , I had rode mt mt bike 8 miles 6 days a week fir several years and that didn't work. Now I do a lot of walking for 10 hours a day at work and then do another 2 miles when I get home. I watch my calories and have been told nothing wrong with the thyroid. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do diffently?

We will need to know more.

Tell us what you ate yesterday, the day before, and the day before that. And portions.

The older we get we lose muscle mass. Muscles mass burns calories while at rest. Without adding strength training to your regime, you're not accomplishing a whole lot. You also don't seem to have any high intensity cardio in your workouts either. Instead of walking, go for a run, or swim, or instead of mountain biking, go for a speed ride.

Try the "Psych Hospital diet"
Skip breakfast, and lunch, and only eat a late snack and a light dinner.
(Not anorexia diet, just a psych hospital diet because the food is disgusting so in the end that's all you eat, because you eventually get hungry so just eat snack and dinner.)
Drop 10 lbs a week.

1) Recent studies say that 250 mins or more of exercise per week is needed to lose weight. So shooting for an hour Mon-Fri is a good goal.

** Strength training is just as important as cardio. Doing full body strength training a few times a week is ideal.

2) Nutrition and calorie count are very important. Tracking your macronutrients - protein, carbs, and fat and getting plenty of fruits/veggies. Also one tricky area people struggle with is not eating enough. If you're working out regularly but your calorie intake is too low, it can have negative effects on your metabolism.

** Drinking plenty of water is very important. A good goal is to drink a gallon per day.
