So how much "energy" stuff is too much?

Energy drinks, pills, shots

I drink coffee in the morning, and through the day I average 4 energy drinks such as redbull, rockstar, monster. Stacker 2 or 3 diet/energy pills. And usually 2 or 3 double serving energy shots, such as hemo rage, speedshot, no explode.

And friends and family have been getting on me saying im going to end up having a heart attack or something. Yet I have been doing this everyday pretty much, for over a year.

Is this stuff really that bad???

My question is WHY. Perhaps you have an underlying health problem that is causing your fatigue.

this

yes, energy supplenments can be very bad for you. and so can copious ammounts of caffeine. do some research on caffeine and energy supplement addiction (not saying youre addicted) and that will give you more insight to the health risks they present

That and the health effects those no-calorie sweeteners have on the body too.

Figure out what's wrong and why you are lethargic and lack energy.

Fix that.

End of discussion.

Well I like the taste of the drinks, and rest for extra boost of energy, long days at work, up late at night, however I think ive built up a tolerance, without it first thing In morning, I get headaches, lack of caffine im guessing... puts me in a better mood

That's quite a bit of stuff you take. I'm not going to lie, I take a Monster in the morning close to once a day. As far as going to the gym, motivation should be your energy to get you where you want to be...at least it is for me. Have you looked into eating foods that provide natural energy? G/L.

You need to change your lifestyle. You can get plenty of energy just from fresh fruits and vegetables. I suggest you try to change your way of thinking that energy drinks give you energy. Imagine your body as a super fast engine that requires fuel in order to run long fast and hard. A fresh pear provides enough sugar for the body to break down and process a lot easier than the crap you're drinking just sayin

You may lack the vitamin B-12 in your body.I was like that until getting a monthly shot by my doctor of of B-12.After that I was able to cut down on all the caffeine.I now have more energy.

STOP with the supplements and substitutes. there could be any host of legit medical problems you are suffering from, go to a doctor and figure it out.

I wouldn't say you have just an addiction, but more of an obsession.
its not really a laughing matter, and your circulatory system can only take so much.
a cup or two of coffee, some Korean ginseng pills(2 a day)and maybe some orange juice to boost you through the day should be plenty.

Be careful with all that, I was doing almost similiar over a year ago, it caused me to be on blood pressure meds. I only did damage for three months, but how consistent I was caused it. I was working day and night, and anytime anyone saw me I always had an energy drink. Within a 17 hour period, depending if I had slept before the day job, I would consume close to 10 Monster's, 3-4 Coke Zero's, 1-2 cups of coffee. Point I'm saying is your damaging your body doing that. If I were you, I would find healthier alternatives, and start weening off all those things. It'll suck, but trust me, when you start drinking them less it makes a great difference. But good luck

I've heard that kidney stones develop with just 3 per day. Idk I heard that kidney stones are painful. OUCH. You should start tapering off. Don't cold turkey.

Look into what is in it.We always need to know what we are putting into our bodies-is it healthy or not?I have never tried.

The common thing that causes us to feel tired,sluggish-is to much iron intake..meat,beans,oregino etc has iron..much average diet,we do get plenty of iron.If you take vitamins need the one without iron in it.The liver will store iron, unneeded.ginger foods, spice used in food and ginger tea is good to help the liver function better and get extra Iron out of the body.Usually will pass in a dark green color. Then you know, iron coming out.

what is bad, is you are 25 yrs old, and have to depend upon energy drinks to make it thru the day, I suggest you see a doctor, and have a complete physical, including blood work, at your age, you should be busting with energy, without having to take artificial stimulants, think about it.
