Are you folks aware of the BP oil spill near the Indiana Dunes area of Lake Michigan? 
I am extremely pissed off about this-- we all should be. I LOVE going to the beaches around here and now a huge stretch of once beautiful beach habitat is just plain ruined

a majority of lake Michigan was ruined decades ago.
by bacteria,steel mill waste and just naming a few.
I used to get spankings as a kid if I was caught swimming in it.

As soon as I finish my course and get a GOOD job placement-- I'm quitting this ridiculous job-- I'm beyond burned out... MOST callers are such a**holes  I have some regulars I enjoy talking to but they're the minority.

Did you know you can download the Kindle for PC app for FREE?!?!? 
(It's even available for a MAC) I did-- you then need to get an Amazon account-- There are quite a few sites I follow on FB that offer FREE and deeply discounted books (some apps, mp3s etc..) daily! The FREE ones are usually only available for a limited time-- so snatch em up quick. When you go to the book site-- click on your selection-- it takes you to your amazon account-- MAKE SURE THAT IT SHOWS UP WITH A KINDLE PRICE OF $0.00.
I've gotten all sorts of books-- romance, sci-fi, fantasy, cookbooks, self-help, gardening, crafts, illustrated children's books...
I recently got -- L. Frank Baum's OZ: The Complete Collection Illustrated Edition (All 14 Oz Books, with Illustrated Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Exclusive Bonus Features) FOR ONLY $.99!!!

So, I just watched the movie "Jackass presents- Bad Grandpa" tonight with my boyfriend-- OMGahahahaha 
Hands down-- funniest movie I've seen in years and years-- but Lawdy it's definitely VERY naughty and completely waaaayyyy out there outrageous. I feel like I need to go to confession and I'm not even a practicing Catholic anymore...

Since that un-insured idiot ran me over, I've been unable to ride my bike. So I sold it this weekend and I'm sad. Had that bike for 8 years and was a sweet ride.

I made Snickerdoodle/Apple Pie bars tonight-- OH YUMMY!
Preheat oven to 350 for a non-stick pan-- 375 for a glass pan
I just took 2 pouches of Betty Crocker Snickerdoodle cookie mix-- prepare dough according to directions except I mixed one pouch of the cinnamon sugar right into the dough-- I used 2 cans of apple pie filling-- using my potato masher to make the apple pieces smaller. I spread half the cookie dough into a greased 13" x 9" pan-- baked for about 10 minutes-- topped with pie filling-- used a spoon to drop balls of remaining cookie dough on top-- sprinkled with 2nd cinnamon sugar pouch and baked about 20-25 minutes more-- SO easy and makes the house smell wonderful
