Jack, maybe I'm a hoot because I'm a full blooded night owl who sleeps from 1:00AM until 9:00AM. I guess I'm still trying to pay back the US Marines for getting me up at 5:00AM and running me 3 miles in the dark just to get to breakfast. Guess what, I don't have to listen to the Marines anymore.
I wish your mother many more years of a happy and healthy life and I hope she still remembers me since she was so nice to me at your home.

Let's do it again !!! Only at a location more convenient to people in the central and western part of the state ! The LASAGNA and Italian Cheesecake are just about ready to eat !!!
Jack, I've been trying to suggest the same thing for someone to take charge and host a meet and greet in the central part of our state like Greensboro, Asheboro, or Lexington but so far no luck. I'll keep digging.

Jack, finding someone to host a meet and greet centrally located for all of NC is more difficult than settling for an exact location and you and I should know better than anyone that a location at the beach, or in the mountains for that matter, will not attract the numbers we hope to get. Your thoughts?

We can always have another party in Wilmington at Halliburton Park. If people don't want to get off their derriere and make a small effort for a meet & greet, let them stay home. Renting a facility is not work. Everyone makes a covered dish or supplies a dessert or beverage. What took up my time was all the cooking I did and I certainly enjoyed doing it. So-the BOTTOM LINE-either a few people in other parts of the state will find a place and host-OR, We can have another party in Wilmington. In anyone else has other ideas, please step forward.
