you guys are making me cry. when my husband was alive, our friends at the Eagles were always grinning and telling us how nice it was to see our love for each other.. even when we only smiled at each other from across the room. this was truly one of the comments we got a lot from the club.. they were always teasing us and saying they wanted that also.. I sure miss him..
AMEN! That is what true love is all about. I feel sad for folks that have never had that and obviously do not understand it. Kathy and I got a lot of the same reactions. When you truly love someone, it is not hard for the world to see that.
I am sorry for your loss Connie and you have my true empathy as I can feel your pain.

Some shall find a love again...it will not be the same love , but it will still be a love that makes one feel wonderful.... others shall never reach out again... we all must do what keeps us happy.... we are never to old to search for some form of happiness

I can't really add anything that you all have not said already.
~ I love to see old folks still holding hands and going arm & arm and a kiss here or there accompanied with hugs.
~ Even though I've not lost that type of loving due to death of a spouse I can empathize with you and hope you have that again someday as would I.
~ and ...... I have no problem with respectful PDA's. (Have seen some that is NOT appropriate.)
GB there is not a thing wrong with your picture. I especially liked the one that you posted, I think of your Aunt and Uncle pushing the cart into the grocery store. That was precious and gives me hope.

My heart is with you Connier. My late husband and I worked together and everyone could see the love we had for each other. We showed our affection with our looks, the way we smiled, held hands, and yes a kissed in public, but without being vulgar. I believe you can do PDA in good taste. And I miss this with him.
So GB, I personally loved that picture, because it would of been My husband and I when we got that age.

I agree that we'd be tossed out of wherever we went. Been there, done that in S. Dokata. No, truth is we expected to get tossed but the waitress got into the thick of things and so did a lot of the locals as well. Really enjoyed that bus tour of the National Parks and the people I met along the way.

Well, whenever an elderly person gets outta line with me...I place him / her in the right. Age is not an excuse to mistreat others. Rights and responsibilities start when you are born and end when you die.
