The way I see it, for every 100 females on here approximately 75% are actually false profiles, scammers, bored guys making up female personas to see how many poor saps they can lure, jaded woman hell bent on making guys lives miserable, etc.

Case in point:
As of late not many people have contacted my profile. All of a sudden immediately after posting in the groups,I get six women over the course of one day attempting to contact me all asking for my yahoo Messenger account and asking me to text their numbers. Each person sporting the same poor broken pigeon English / Russian, each woman in their late 20s, all blonde hair blue eyes and attractive. Has anyone else experienced this wonderful flight of Scammers clustering in one day? Do they really think that we are all that stupid?

People need to get a life!

Update
I have been now contacted by 9 "women" in the past 2 days each more beautiful than the last all hundreds if not thousands of miles away (I'm sure by design as how else can they extort a bus or plane ticket they will eventually want me to pay for lol) The last one was from Egypt. Talk about wanting a long distance relationship. I find this all so comical. As long as I keep posting and my activity goes on the main board, the more the scammers think chum has been put in the waters and its shark week lol.

Please understand that I'm not jaded or complaining about the whole online dating thing in general but just commenting about how all these type sites are a scammers best friend and playground as evidenced by all the activity after only one post on the groups.

We have more hit 14 scammer profiles in three days a new record! The onslaught continues.

It seems that west Africa is the place they are now coming from and not Nigeria lol. So far I got the 'I'm sick with a brain tumor about to die and I want to give you money from my USA wood business that I amn in three processes of selling for 850 thousand euro' (guess the dumb scammers don't know we use dollars here lol). Then instructed to contact her lawyer in west Africa to assist with the funds transfer to me because she wants me to give it to charities lol her with a clear conscience doing one last good deed in the world lol.

Then I got 'my father died and I'm in west Africa for the sale of his oil business both parents dead only child I've been hurt in bad relationships and I want one true love'... you where's this of going.

The scam I guess is when you contact these wonderfully philanthropic people to try to obtain their money or contact them via email or instant messenger or bank account they will hack your accounts, ask for a plane ticket to come see you, pay an inheritance or transfer fee first before they send you the money... and on and on.

And this all from just posting in the groups. You just can't make this stuff up.

I don't get much from scammers anymore. Heck just like bots. Can Cyberly smell them from miles away. And it's stated.

Chances are if you put your income at a ga-zillion bucks a year, the scammers would be crawling out of the woodwork. Mine seem to have a median age of 20-30 years old. Sorry, I'm not into raising a daughter.
