Hello, I'm Shannon, a widow since Sept. of 2009. I'm also a mother if two fantastic children and a brand new gramma.
I am tired of being defined and labeled. Yes, I'm a widow, I hate it, wish it on no one, but I've also found that in taking 20 seconds of courage to say "Hello" I've become more open and less "confined" in my own widowhood.
Do any of you, men or women, find that others see "widow/er" and think sexually deprived?

Some think desperate and and try to take advantage of the situation. I'm not desperate. I'm very strong after what I've been through.

No....
I think Most people that read "Widow" react with...:
"Oh! They've probably got a ~Shrine~ built in some corner of their home!"
Not Me...!!
I was given _Direct Instructions_....to find someone New...
that can take-up where she left-off...!!
After 16 years.....that ~Someone New~ is In For A Treat...!!!
