Had dinner with this girl, then we wanted to get drinks and she suggested the bar she works at, which was close. We get in there and are hanging out and getting some drinks and this girl spots a guy at the bar who I guess was a regular. (by the way, if you're a regular at a bar, what do you do for the world?) They greet eachother and this dude comes to sit at our table on our first date. Class act, but again, what would you expect from any regular at any bar? Gradually it's just her and him more and more. The girls coworkers, because remember we went to the place she works at, AT HER SUGGESTION, were talking to me and telling me that they observed how dirty she was doing me and they explained that the girl apparently had some on-again-off-again thing with the guy and it looked like I was just the prop to get a reaction out of him. She came up to me and asked if I'd mind if she went home with the regular. I laughed and said fine, however once I walked out and got into my car, I broke down and left a voice mail for my therapist I was seeing at the time for depression. My therapist, who really was a nice woman, had suggested that I try to date more because I was really shy due to a multitude of reasons going back to age 9. I don't mind saying that I find it terrifying to approach women due to several experiences as a kid and teenager so even though you might think differently, I was really really really really putting my neck on the line and all I got was this. Maybe I should feel flattered because I'd have to think she'd try to find somebody attractive to throw in the guy's face but I'm not built like that to enjoy any of this horrible behavior.
