i have recently pretty much been forced to switch to express scripts, instead of going to my local pharmacy to get my meds because of the way my insurance pays, and i have had nothing but trouble out of them from day one...
they get my meds wrong
they dont ship all of my meds
they take meds off and on of autofill on some sort of whims
they send you stuff that you dont need/want,and still make you pay for them by threatening to stop sending you ANY of your meds until you settle your account/pay for the stuff you never asked for/dont need
it takes FOREVER to get talk to anybody when you call them, and then they just put you on hold again, because they cant do anything to help you.
AND YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM EVERY TIME,cuz they screw something up EVERY TIME!!!!
is there any other alternatives to express scripts?
cuz i DESPERATELY want to find a different way/place to get my meds, but i dont want to pay the hundreds of dollars/full price they have started charging me if i use my local pharmacy to get my precsriptions filled.
or,
who can i contact to file a complaint against this mail order pharmacy, since i dont think my state's pharmacy board has any control over them?

You can get the same fine service from the VA.

I get a lot better service from the va hospital. If you have a disability rating through va. I have been using the va hospital in Augusta for about 14 years. I only remember 1 issue I had. Go to your local va clinic to get the ball started. They will also help with the express scripts problem.

I have been using the VA since 1976. Have had 22 operations thru them and get my meds sent thru the mail to me. If you do not have a disability that is service connected they charge you a small co-pay. I have had NO problems with the VA.
