Can anyone tell me how to uninstall Meteoroids from my computer.

STEP 1. Uninstall Meteoroids application using Control Panel.
STEP 2. Remove Meteoroids ads from Internet Explorer.
STEP 3. Remove Meteoroids advertisements from Google Chrome.
STEP 4. Remove Ads by Meteoroids from Mozilla Firefox.

Thanks, I used a free virus removal called Malwarebytes and it did all the work.

You may want to use adware too because there most likely are still fragments of the program in your hard drive.

Who still uses obsolete Wirows nowadays...
Dual boot Ubuntu and you're done with viruses.
