Just got up-- have a 12hr day ahead of me (2 6hr shifts with a 2hr break between)-- really wish I was STILL in bed though 
That sounds like a 14+ hr. day to me!

YEP  My boyfriend just got hired into a new company and will start around the end of September-- (they're finishing up construction on the plant) He'll be full time w/ full bennies! SOOOO looking forward to being able to cut down my hours-- but I'll be filling that time back up with getting back on track with my online course and finally finish it!!! Get a good job placement as a Medical Transcriptionist-- work less make MORE money $$$

You ladies are working some screwed up hours. I knew a woman that worked at home as a medical transcriptionist. She was my first on-line chat buddy - Rivergirl from POF. She decided to stop chatting because I refused to meet her. A bright, awesome, very humorous woman though.

I will when my BF starts his new job at the end of the month-- I've been working hours like this for years-- it SUCKS-- but when you don't make much-- gotta kick yer own a** twice as hard to just stay afloat.
I'm less than 6 months away from starting a new career myself-- working on an online course in Medical Transcription-- my course has a 100% placement rate and I'm gonna hold em to it!  So-- even though I'll slow up my work hours-- I'm gonna fill em back up bustin my BUTT to finish up and get my job placement-- Just starting out I should be making about twice what I am now.

My hours really are crazy-- some days I start @ 3pm and work til 9pm-- take a 2hr break and work from 11pm to 3am-- other days I start @ 1pm- work til 7pm-- take a 2hr break and work from 11pm to 3am-- usually about 70hrs a week

At least I get to work from home in my jammies  It's not like I can roam my apartment while on shift though-- I'm on a leash-- aka my headset phone and NO breaks during a shift-- but I can mess around online and work on my course while I'm making $$$
But I'm coming up to the part of my course that I can't do while I'm on the phone working-- the last 3 modules are ALL pure trancription of reports-- listening to dictation on my computer and typing it all up-- NO errors! So my BF starting his job is right on time-- I'll be able to cut work ours and dedicate that time to typing, typing, typing...

Due to a miscommunication problem with my Dr's office and my pharmacy-- I've been off my meds for over a month-- you're NOT supposed to go cold turkey off depression meds  -- so I've been feeling awful (dizzy, lightheaded, nausea, messed up sleep...) Finally fixed the problem and got my meds yesterday-- now I feel WORSE-- trying to get back on em-- add a rotten headache and body aches to the other stuff too

I know-- I'm pretty pissed about it-- the nurse practitioner I was seeing left her position-- but requests for prescription refills etc... kept going to her inbox and weren't being attended to-- also-- the office switched to a whole new phone system-- faxes to and from pharmacies weren't going thru...
