did you watch? who do you think did the better job?
As for me Mr. Wolf was very vague about his tax plan for the state. He avoided the
issue of his company being headquarted in Delaware and NOT PA.
Also he avoided the question about his 2nd largest donor..............unions.
Wolf seemed to be trying to look good but provided no substance.
Mr. Wolf basically said that during his term, your TAXES WERE GOING UP!

<<< PA resident.

I watched the debate! Corbett won it hands down!

Unemployment is down, spending being brought under control, higher taxes avoided, and he is focusing on responsible pension funding. He also wants schools to focus and help train and educate students to get them TRADES educated...

***

P.s. I'm trying to find the current status of PA house and senate bill 76!!! I would vote to ELIMINATE PROPERTY TAXES.
Still looking for where this issue IS.

I am involved in PA politics at the grass roots level. I am a elected member to my committee. can you explain more about this issue of which you speak?

Glad that you watch this debate. All Mr. Wolf said was that MOST PA tax payers
would pay more in taxes under his system.
With the election season coming up, I don't expect much if anything to come to the floor.
Here in my neck of PA, we are lucky to have such great conservative House members
here. Now the Senate we have some work to do next time.

you have been causing problems in the Republican party here in PA for too long.
You were not endorsed so time to quit your whining unless you want Mr. Wolf as your Gov.
Now if you wish to make a comment about the issues covered in the debate fine.
If not then collect your grapes and continue to whine.
FYI I was not a Corbett supporter. I wanted the military guy who was in the Pentagon
during 9/11. If you really care about PA, then tell the Republicans out of both
Philly and Pittsburgh that they are clueless!!!!

I am no longer a Republican. And, Tom Wolf will be the next Governor. Look at the polls. Corbett doesn't have a chance. So, if you want Wolf to be elected, then go ahead and vote for Corbett. You have only one other choice.

If the Republican Party would follow the Constitution, they never would have had a problem with me. My platform is very similar to Ron Paul, adapted to fit the State.

I don't believe in polls. The truth and Wolf is coming out . He is just another
Obama clone. Anti 2nd amendment, pro 3rd term abortion, pro tax payer funding for all
sex reassignment surgeries for state employees.
wants to raise the state income tax, tax Marcellus shale AGAIN!
I am fighting to change the Republican state committee. I am tired of their bullshit!
A vote for you would be a totally wasted vote. just like the "tea party" candidates.

Why do you say I'm upset? Funny, I don't feel upset. I even for got about it till I read your post.

I have been a political watcher for a long time. Forget my write in campaign for a minute. My analysis of this election is impeccable. Corbett's negative numbers are so high, and positive numbers so low, that it would take a miracle for him to be re-elected. Further, I believe the numbers of the Republican Party in general are not very good. It is likely that Tom Wolf will be elected Governor, and the Democrats will likely take over the General Assembly.

Now, back to me. I am guessing I will get about 500,000 write in votes. In the grand scheme of things, that's not a lot. But, it's enough to keep getting the message out. What message? See it hear: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1433726336896316/

And, by the way, I am no longer a Republican. We have started a new party. You can see that here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/672038526198778/ So, I am registered "Freedom USA" Party.

If you want to stay stuck in the quagmire created but the 2 major parties, which sounds like you do, go right ahead, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Constitution.

The Republicans and Democrats have suspended the Constitution.

We have been told terrorists hate our freedom. Well, looks they won:
1. The Patriot Act; 2. NDAA; 3. TSA; 4. Police State; 5. Government Spying.
And let's not forget Obamacare, which is nothing but a National version of Romneycare.

Freedom loving people are on the move, even here in Pennsylvania. We've had it with these corrupt parties in power. And eventually, they will be removed from power. And I hope it will be done peacefully. But, we have fought the Revolutionary War over a 2% tax on tea. We have gone far above that. And many people have had it.

3rd parties have no money to make any positive impact. Even though I am a tea party
person, to me keeping Mr. Corbett is priority ! and winning the senate and getting rid of dingy Harry is #2.
The Gov. has done everything almost that he promised. But sadly the PA Senate is
a joke. I don't believe in poll numbers. With Obama sucking as President so bad, why
would anyone vote for his white clone?
also I will work to keep as low a number of write in votes for you in my percient
as possiable. the Democrats use 3rd party candidates to their advantage.

Tom Corbett cares nothing about truth or justice, he enjoys the idea of a police state and dirty tricks to convict people to make his score card to look good.

Mr. Wolf believes the government needs to be bigger, the budget needs to be bigger. The taxes we pay need to be bigger. He is clearly in the pocket of teacher's unions, the bastion of liberal/progressive thinking.

When he was a prosecutor, he used Gestapo tactics to intimidate certain people to confess/rat/inform. The police are using those tactics to find pot patches from drunk drivers and those who have traffic infringements. There is no real 4th and 5th amendments today. You are a subject, not a citizen.

I like his management skills though, and I'm afraid the Wolf in Sheep's clothing will sheer use from our hard earned dollars through increased taxation.

Thank you. Also, there is a State Police barracks near Philadelphia that is becoming a military unit.

I heard something about Corbett when he was Attorney General, that he could have done something about Jerry Sandusky long before anything was done, but he dropped the ball. I don't remember any details though. Maybe you know some.

I agree with you about the 4th and 5th Amendment, in fact, in my opinion, the entire Constitution has been suspended. But, We the People of Pennsylvania still have the our Constitution.

Article I is known as the Declaration of Rights.

Section 8
The people shall be secure in their persons, houses, papers and possessions from unreasonable searches and seizures, and no warrant to search any place or seize any person or things shall issue without describing them as nearly as may be, nor without probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation subscribed to by the affined.

To me, this is a big deal. This is nearly identical to the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution, which is obviously being violated at every airport in this country, including here in Pennsylvania, by TSA agents. If I were Governor of Pennsylvania, every TSA agent that performs these invasive searches at any Pennsylvania airport would be arrested and charged with the appropriate crime. Perhaps sexual assault. This is something worth a State suing the Federal Government for. It is the job of the Governor to uphold the Constitution of Pennsylvania, which must include protecting the citizens of Pennsylvania from these unreasonable searches. The current Governor (Corbett), and his predecessor (Rendell) has failed in this duty. And there is no way Tom Wolf would be any better.

Section 9
In all criminal prosecutions the accused hath a right to be heard by himself and his counsel, to demand the nature and cause of the accusation against him, to meet the witnesses face to face, to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and, in prosecutions by indictment or information, a speedy public trial by an impartial jury of the vicinage; he cannot be compelled to give evidence against himself, nor can he be deprived of his life, liberty or property, unless by the judgment of his peers or the law of the land. The use of a suppressed voluntary admission or voluntary confession to impeach the credibility of a person may be permitted and shall not be construed as compelling a person to give evidence against himself.

The Governor takes an oath to "support, obey and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this Commonwealth." I can not remember any Governor in my life time that has kept this oath. If I am elected, I will.

that is why you need to talk to your state rep. the problem is how school districts
get their money from school taxes on property.
In my school district, they get 60% of the money needed from taxes the other money comes from Harrisburg.

The 3rd debate is going to be held on Oct. 8th in Pittsburgh. I think that it will

The debates are useless. Voters will vote democrat if they are on welfare, work for the state or are members of the teacher's union. Republican votes will come from those who produce a good or service or work for a living. There are more of the former in this state. Welcome Mr. Wolfe as governor.

No more driver's who don't know where to put the registration sticker on their license plate. No more turn signals after the turn has been initiated. Once again Gov. Corbett completly outclassed Tom Wolf.
Tom Wolf continued to waffle on his tax plan. Tom Wolf refused to accept any responsibilty
for the $4.2 BILLION shortfall that Corbett inhereted.
Funny but tonight Tom Wolf actually sorta acknowledged that PA has a PENSION CRISIS!
Pensions and Welfare make up most of the states current budget. Mr. Wolf states that he is
going to rearrange fiscial priorties. So how is he going to do that?
Tom Wolf plenty of empty comments on how he will do things.
Just look at his past to get your answers.
The answer is clear we need to reelect TOM CORBETT for Gov. of PA!

Way to go Filthadelphia and Pittsburgh for voting for the SOCIALIST TOM WOLF AS
YOUR NEXT GOVENOR????????????
You morons must not care about your school taxes doubling every year and you must
not care about how bad the common core "standards" really are!!!!!
The defination of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and
EXPECTING A DIFFERENT RESULT!!!
He is already working on giving the unions a HUGE SWEETHEART DEAL for their next
contract which you will have to pay for!!!!
Well most of you Philly people probably depend on your government checks.
