I've been to a few meets. I know if someone doesn't step up to lead the way, it will never happen. You seem to be really interested in seeing something happen, so logic has it you should lead the way.

Ive been to events in other counties where the posters dont even live. they just know the area from visiting there. I live near Pittsburgh and traveled to Allentown just to stay overnight and meet some people I chatted with from another site. I also set up a breakfast with a few of my friends from this site in Highspire, near Harrisburg. I have a friend that lives out that way and he helped to set it up, I emailed everyone I wanted to invite and all but one showed up

Well, there's always the Red Lion Restaurant on Rt. 443 between Pine Grove and Schuylkill Haven for a casual gathering. Those in Ashland can come down 81 to the Ravine exit, turn right onto Rt. 125 until the stop light in Pine Grove and turn left onto 443---a couple of miles down the road on your left (but park on the right).
In Pottsville, there's always my fav, Roma's, on Market Street, right off of Centre Avenue. There is an upstairs area and they can put tables together for a group.
Just some suggestions...

Sorry, didn't mean to rain on your parade. Your best bet is to just pick a date and run with it. No matter how hard you try, you will never find a date that suits everyone.
