Well, I'm thinking perhaps Harold Jenkins might have had a song named "Julie."
According to a story he told in an interview, Tom T. Hall was performing "____ _____ _____" when he looked down and noticed little children singing along. He thought, now, that ain't right. So he wrote a children's song called "______
______"

It's a song entitled "Julia". I found it on YouTube before. I didn't know he'd even sang it because he never went public with it.
Hmm still looking up the Tom T Hall song.

Wait I got myself confused for a moment lol. "Julia" was released. The song named "Julie" is what he recorded but never released. It used to be on YouTube but isn't anymore. It's what I originally posted about was the Julie song. I just got mixed up for a moment lol. Wish I could listen to it once but it's not on YouTube.

Hank Williams Sr. is my all time favorite. Also like Jimmy Martin, Seldom Scene, Reno and Smiley, Ray Price, Porter Wagoner, Merle Haggard. Anything that is real country or real bluegrass and has feeling

I agree I love those too with real feeling and meaning. It's why I love the old southern gospel too.
