I think Roth is way better than Sammy Hagar. Santana had some great music early on, but would have to agree that he's overrated.

Zeppelin and The Beatles along with The Stones are the 3 most important and influential bands of all time. They paid homage to the blues in very prolific ways, bringing the music to many young people who may not have discovered it otherwise. Elvis Presley stole blues music and become famous for what were inferior covers of the originals because radio stations wouldn't play black music.

Zeppelin's blues covers like When The Levee Breaks, Gallows Pole, Lemon Song, and In My Time Of Dying are among there best and are great examples of honoring the past by moving them into incredibly different spaces without compromising the integrity of the
originals. Most artists, even the greats, rip somebody off.

Freebird will continue to be overplayed like any great tune; if you in fact hold that against them...
Because I live in Jacksonville and they act like it is the greatest band ever. I am sick of hearing there crappy songs esp Freebird..... I can not stand that song If you lived here you would be sick of them as well along with Limp Bizkit..

Slipknot is a metal juggernaut and one of THE best live acts out there! But this is opinion based so no harshness on your opinion. But as for metal goes in being over rated? Five Finger Death Punch.I will admit I have a few albums and some songs are just jams, but once you begin to listen to a lot of their songs (especially the ones on radio) you can see their material is the same over and over with a few minor changes. Example:lift me up and over and under it. Its like the same damn song!!!
And I totally agree on nickleback. Bubble gum rock jock garbage.
