I recently watched a decent indie film called "before I disappear" and then I found out it was an extension of a short that was released 2 years ago called "curfew"
The main actor in both films is Shawn Christensen who is also the writer and director for both. His supporting actor in both is Fatima Ptacek who is the current voice for Dora the explorer.
I felt this movie was much better as the 20 min. short but it was interesting watching both and seeing the details of the longer version.
I'll give both films  out of five!

I watched "Still Alice" before bed. I usually have not liked
Julianne Moore in many films but in this dramatic character study she shines!

For coming out of New Zealand this movie was quite funny and had good CGI! If you like vampires and reality tv shows check this one out!

I thought I would watch another vampire comedy....This was equally as good but not as funny as I anticipated!

Okay- I'm still taking lessons from a nakked guy, but if someone would post the movie, "Reindeer Games" for me I would be sooooooooo happy.
Ben Affreck...it takes place in the upper U.P. and that's all I will say. The ending will surprise you !!!!

Iron skies.
It's a witty, funny, sexy, corny, etc, sci-fi comedy about Hitler creating a base on the dark side of the moon.
A goofy movie but worth a watch.

Anyone ever see Lost Horizon? The remake (1973) of the original (1937) was a musical, it didn't sell well and therefore was never released on DVD, only on laser disk. It was and still is one of my favorite movies, ( I'm a sap for musicals ).

I found a strange movie connection and thought I would share. I was watching the 1993 movie Kalifornia when one of the small characters in the film caught my attention.
Hank Musgrave who appeared to be a retired military engineer that developed bombs for the war effort. I did a google search for the name Hank Musgrave and found some excerpts from a novel called China Bomb.
