Friendship comes from a common connection or something that you can gain from another person, in this case trust and devotion to the likeliness of character and your personality. That in itself doesn't sound like someone who will pose as a threat or challenge in the amount of time you be with someone, especially if you are just to unwind. Based on this post, the fact that your potential significant other is stopping you from having an inner circle of friends speaks volumes about her insecurity and her own confidence in being surrounded by her peers. I would personally talk this out now before it exacerbates into something uncontrollable.....gamer

I have a lot more to offer and I'm not dating to make friends.
The 'prize' is when two compatible people find each other. Dating is about finding that compatible person and sex is part of compatibility.
Sex is not a tool for bargaining a man into commitment, or a means of filtering a mans intentions and it's certainly not an award to be issued because a man jumped through a few hoops.
When you use sex for the things listed above, you devalue yourself..you are basically saying that sex is the most valuable thing you have to offer.
