Hello ...
If you are reading this, you are likely a bit amused by what you have read here at DH.com .... or
.... you are really not amused at all.
I do the best I can with what I got ...
just like every one else does.
Since I have been here at DH.com and posting in the forums, people have been asking me who I am in the world which is a good question.
I was born in California from a Scottish/American family and raised in the world, my first language I spoke was French as I was with my dad and living there at age 5 or so. Turns out my great grandfather was a University of Glasgow graduate in Physics and gave a lot of money to that school which was well placed for the winning of two world wars. After returning to the US of A, I went to live in many of the States in the Union in growing up; to where I ended up back in California for the greater part of my teen years and graduated from Terra Linda High School in Marin County.
I volunteered for military service during the Vietnam War and worked as a Combat Law Enforcement Patrolman where I was trained for many jobs and one of them was investigations. After I ended up as a Disabled Veteran then I went back to school; where a lot of my education was in Criminal Justice, Medicine and Psychology.
I read a lot of books growing up, and actually read whole libraries at the University of California San Francisco, Berkeley, Sonoma and Davis since my student access allowed me to do that. I have a little bit of Aspergers Syndrome and it gives me a mental facility with an eidetic memory. Coupled with a keen investigative penetrating intellect I have been able to look at the history of Psychology and make connections in the science of the human condition that most of my peers are in discovery of.
Many learned people who have read the same stack of books that I have read can discern what shelf in the library I was standing in front of when I was speed reading through the literature. My clinical hours have been in Addiction Medicine, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Biofeedback, Hospice and now I am trained as an Emergency Medical Technician as I want to volunteer and give back to my neighbors who did so much to pull me out of the grave that was Vietnam and save my life.
As for a relationship, I would like to see what happens. Right now, I am looking for Miss Right Enough. I engage in serial monogamy and I give my self to my woman as I am kinked out that way. So if you are a lady who wants to get involved with me, you are going to have to put up with that, for as long as you can if you would please. The emotional passion keeps building and the remarkable women I have done this with do not want to deal with it at any length as it is to much of a distraction to what they want to accomplish such as their financial goals or the career path they are on.
Friends with Excellent Benefits is good I like to think as I have not found any one who is marriage material yet. So far all the women I have had the pleasure of meeting are to distance in place, time, age, and all the rest that goes into the confluence of events to make a healthy marriage.
