What the f**k is going on in this town? I thought Chicago was bad this is some insane stupid shit:
"MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com)--What was supposed to be a carefree night of fun celebrating the new year ended up in disaster when five people were injured after shots were fired into a party bus on I-240 early New Year's Day.
It all started just before 3:00 a.m. when a VIP Status party bus, carrying 19 people, left the Ice Bar and Grill on Hacks Cross Rd.
Memphis police say a 33-year-old passenger on the bus got into an argument with someone at the club. The bus driver tried to calm the situation and attempted to get everyone on the bus to leave. While waiting for a few more passengers to get on the bus, the 33-year-old man got off the bus and started arguing with suspects again. As the bus driver made him get back on the bus, the suspects went to their cars and started pulling out their guns.
The bus left the club, and while driving on I-240, the driver noticed one of the suspects in a green Chevy Tahoe following him and then pulling up beside the bus. Police say a silver Toyota Camry then pulled in front of the bus and started slowing down. As the bus changed lanes, the suspects in the Tahoe started firing shots into the bus, hitting five of the passengers.
Police say the bus driver exited off of I-240 and drove to the Baptist East emergency room. Two of the victims were in extremely critical condition.
Local 24 spoke to one of the victims who had been released from the hospital but was in no condition to talk on camera. She says she is still in serious pain and described how scared she was this morning. She was shot three times in both legs and still has one of the bullets inside of her left leg. Her boyfriend was hit in the head. He is still in the hospital along with two other victims.

I almost went to the beale countdown that night and people told me they heard on the news there were threats of things going to go on, and plus I was really tired. I guess I wouldn't have been near these people anyway though.
