Oh wow..back in the days my now late husband,got mad an I tried to calm him down,instead he took it out on me..started choking me,then threw me down on the ground,I landed by some 2by4s.I picked one up an swung it to his head!!thank God I didn't kill him.but I almost got put in jail for it....so what I'm saying no body is worth going to jail,,back off an cool down!

While it is still legal in some states to beat your wife (yes look it up) it's not love and it's wrong.
Some of those women can go ballistic on their man, each other and strangers. I really don't know how you guys deal with them. All mouth and reaction. It seems like it is looked at as a badge of honor or a sign of strength.

I got into a push slap and shove with someone...once... long story... police came told us to separate for the night. I went to a hotel. We had gotten ticketed for disorderly but it was thrown out in court. Sometimes it's just the perfect storm. .... I also had an ex in my early twenties smash my bathroom sink into tiny pieces. And nearly toss my couch across the room. He blacked out. I dunno...drugs or mental illness or what. Someone jumped him...when he woke he freaked but he had never played a hand on me. That's about all the story I can come up with. I can't believe u now only have two hours left to sleep. I am really sabotaging my life....here.

Defending yourself is totally different.I had a 4 year relationship where the guy got mad at me ...choking me! As you... I picked up a thick object in knocking him upside the head....no regrets! He kept his hands off of me after that,also I left him not too long after.My thoughts were not good if he decided to do it again.

Honestly, I'd like to think that i wouldn't... unless they hit me first... then all bets are off... i also know that if a man was to ever hit me... he would not like the consequences... i have a large very protective family, and we all have terrible tempers,I'm very slow to actually get angry, but hitting me would be the best way to do it... now if i know i was asking for it by actions or words, it is unlikely that i will physically retaliate, but once a man lays a finger on me in violence I'm out

nope.. sometimes people snap,especially bipolar women. mine would get outta the chair if we had words,an if she said one thing i said it back twice as bad...a very bad thing,only on occasions,..some will walk over to you to slug you. i took it,cause of her bipolar etc.she would get outta the car at a redlite or stop sign,an start walkin,an even tell cops to leave her alone. but mostly was nice,an never took no meds for bipolar. before she died from cancer,she laid her head on my knee and apologized twice,for being mean. etc, it all was allready forgiven though. mostly we were nice an generous an done well.

what if your layin in the floor,watchion t v,an shes sittin up in chair an you start arguin,an shes a bit older etc, but comes down to the floor,an hits you right in the mouth,or on the head etc.....shes dead an gone,an mostly was sweet  an apologized to me for things like this...but..some i think would handle way more violent than i did, which i did nuthin.and eventually we allways settled down. she was bipolar,yes.........seems most are anyway.an carry a grudge or very sensitive.........
