If it gets REAL icy, I may not be able to leave my property for a day or two. The snow isn't bad though. It's that last hill getting off my land that stymies me. I'm thinking the dump truck load of gravel I had laid down this Spring on that hill should give me all the traction I need. 
Had to walk that mile and a half to the store a few times last year...

Thanks bro! i could be stuck at my place for a week and other than tobacco, I would lack for nothing. Even the pets and chickens would be on full rations. Good to have a Samaritan friend though!
The fellas left the jobsite an hour early to beat the sleet which is now coming down steadily. Gonna be awhile before it sticks to the road. My day is done and I iz takin my booty... HOME!
P.S. If you get stranded on the trail, eat your sled dogs as a last resort. The ASPCA'll get yer ass!
