I get a lot of my news from the innerwebs and the radio during my work commutes nowadays since I killed my satellite TV service a few years ago. Obviously, it's the headlines that are meant to grab your attention and make you read the story. Some are more eye-catching than others...

A real dragon killed by local farmers in Asia. It has to be true it was on Facebook and even have pictures. I thought it looked just like the dragon from the neverending story.

I don't know that your definition is true though. Every definition I find usually only describes the basic attributes of a spider, but doesn't say anything about additional attributes that would preclude an arachnoid with wings (or something else like a trunk from being a spider. But I could be wrong.
