Depends, first try and clean the temp files from your browser. It could be an add-on to your browser not responding. Check your event logs, see if there is an error file that will tell you what has failed. From a command line run: "ipconfig /all" and check you DNS IP address to see if it is right. I am a IT PC Tech for a hospital, and these are the first places I look at work if one of my user's have problems .

Better yet get rid of IE and try Google Chrome or Fire Fox as your new browser.

While valid advice, I recommend the op follow the advice of the first poster first. Finding problematic addons could be a symptom of bigger issues such as viruses. Virus writers have begun targeting firefox and chrome.

I too would say ditch IE for a real browser like Chrome. But if you really really want to run IE you may consider updating it to the newest version your OS supports, You don;t really say which version of Windows you are using so depending on that upgrade options may be limited.\

I agree with some of this. I am assuming your using windows. Change to firefox and update your host's file using mvp or any other millions of things on the net. Just Google hosts file. ~P

Get whatever browser you want, this is an issue of connectivity not peoples' bullshit opinions.
