I thought that this event was really poorly covered by Fox. Most of the time I could
not see where the ball was!!! Also I thought that the rounds took too long to complete.
Sure hope that they don't go back to that venue for quite sometime.
Next year a I hope improved course at Oakmont here in PA.

I thought it had a great finish, unlike last year at Pinehurst.

Scintillating drama down the stretch. Speith was completely speechless during initial interview. Greg Norman like meltdown. Overall was pleased by FOX coverage (just by the fact that Vern Lundquist or pompous Johnny Miller were absent). Julie Inkster was great and shows why more women should be commentating. Speith =nerves of steel.

i was satisfied with fox coverage. there were 2 things that annoyed me and they pretty much corrected those for the weekend. 1st, they had a football guy doing post round interviews. nothing against charles davis but his interviews were awkward at best. replacing him with holly sonders was a good move. 2nd, saturdays 2 hour talk-a-thon at the start of the broadcast was horrendous. sunday was way better. i'm a shark fan, and corey pavin is kool. for me tho, the jury is still out on tom weiskof although, i'll take him over johnny miller any say

since fox will be broadcasting the us open for next 11 years, i do hope they find a lil bit smoother broadcast.

Hey Tater,

I'm beginning to think that you enjoy professional golf more than you enjoy college football and I didn't think that was possible!

This year's US Open was a very unique event with a lot of yin and yang (good and bad).

* This US Open may be a historic second leg of a rare Grand Slam of Golf
* Congrats to Jordan Spieth winning his second major this year at age 21
* Two more Major Wins this year and he may become this generation's Bobby Jones

* Jordan Spieth became the youngest person to win the US Open

* Jason Day is a great player, brave, a gentleman, and now loved by more fans than a week
ago!

* Oosthuizen 29 tied the U.S. Open record, and elevated him to a second place finish

* Dustin Johnson proved that you drive for show and putt for dough
* On the 18th hole he made the par 5 green in 2, then miss a 12 foot put to win, and a
2 foot putt to tie, three putting his way to a second place tie

* If you are showcasing a new course for its first US Open, don't forget to water the
course so it doesn't look like Death Valley!

* The US Open moved to the Northwest US to the excitement of local fans.
* I prefer Torrey Pines (a short drive from my house)

Hey Buddy, I hope the competition will always burn with you, as it does me, because that's what keeps us going!
