Gone are the stories and adventures, yet to be made along life's beaten path,
here to stay are these days, thinking of our decades past.
Good, bad, indifferent, we went through hell and back,
we were upon a crossroad again, our lives adrift on separate tracks.
As this new life begins to unfold, before my very weary eyes,
sadly as my heart grows black, my soul continues it's cry.
Pull my self being from this bed, each and every morning,

I think there will always be a hole in our hearts that only our special ones will fill but I think also that over time we will find love and happiness once again and It won't hurt so bad. Our Loved ones would not want us to dwell on their deaths. They would want us to be happy and find love again someday when the time is right.
