People tell you who they are all the time. When a man says he can't be monogamous, you should believe him.
Cinnamon ~ that #99 goes along with what you quoted. I was also told by a shrink a long time ago 'if a man tells you he is 'not' something, then believe him.' ... and I keep hearing it in other tips of advise. So when guy tells me he is never wanting to get married again .... I totally believe him and I don't get some crazy notion that he'll fall madly in love with me and change his mind ....... they don't!!
POINT being ........ if we as women don't listen WE end up hurting ourselves and we need to be responsible for our own dumb situations we put ourselves into.
Think and make smart choices Ladies !!   You owe it to your self.
I have actually gotten some men mad at me when they have told me they never want to marry again, I take their word and let them know I won't go out with them because we don't have the same goals.
So why do you suppose they get mad at me about this?

I don't even try to presume what a man is thinking. Especially on the first date. Many things are said or not said and people change all the time.
