I've never been, so I'd need one of the safest seats in the raft... and help pitching [as in setting up, not throwing it in the river) my tent.. and how do I carry my full sized mattress??

I can try and make it. Just don't know if I will have extra money or not then for the raft rental or gas.
Also the 20th is on a Sunday so if camping is involved we would have to take Monday off work.

Yasss',, I have been in touch with the outfitters.
Bottom line, we need some rain,
I'll get an update tomorrow,
Location wise, two hour range from Gooberville, Acworth area
Rafting day, Saturday, begins early ,early.
6 hours on the river, a good lunch is provided
Cost,100.00 per,But,,,,
Camp,bring your own food, ,
Lodging, plenty of campgrounds, near the river, I plan on dipping a line Friday and Saturday night,
We want to feel Sparky Saturday morning,, we are looking for some,
Big Water Baby
I still have a big pack of hotdogs from Stone Mountain,
I'm sure we can come up with some grub and maybe you think,,
D H a Firepit
I'll bring my portable kitchen
Plates and that stuff,, Pack some in your camping gear,
Tablecloths,bowls and other assorted necessities are in my portable kitchen.
Apples are coming in here so we will do some kind of apple dessert on the fire,
All night snack food

I have never done it in a raft myself, always used a Florida lake canoe a real no no because of the keel line that makes it impossible to paddle sideways! Never flipped or sank mine and have done up to class three rivers. Had to pull over and dump excess water at Nantahala in North Carolina. Hope all that go have a wonderful time!!

This sounds Soooo Fun that we definately need to do... Just bad timing for me .... September-December is tight on the wallett..saving for Christmas or Really starting to buy for Christmas so. I can get my kids things they really want in December instead of spending all my money on all the other kids in the family...Ya'll know what I mean!!!

This whole glacier cooling thing has got us headed back to the way winters used to be, two-and-a-half 3 feet of snow a year. There has been skiing at Thanksgiving ,,
