I came up with a new hypothesis on this matter.

but you'd have to really think about every aspect here of the thread and etc. to understand it.

My answer is....they would be three inches off the floor.

Okay...figure out how I came up with that answer.

I think you'll find that a bit tougher than the original question....lol

Just put your guesses up and I'll tell you if you were right.

One what out of twelve what? Add three what?

The five answer relies on the trick of playing semantic misunderstandings and assumptions against the victim.

Which point? there are 5 points to each star, many points to a question, a punctuation mark has a point, so which is your point?
How many points to my question?..

This is a test....you will be given a math riddle and the answer....the test is to see if you think there is more to this....than the obvious.

If so....your answer could tell your whole life story, your astrological sign and who and what you will be in your next life and how kinky you are.

I don't have any dilemma's....and life is great.

I think people were seeking some deeper meaning than a question where the answer was that obvious.

So far...no one figured that out.

and no one tried to answer my riddle here either.

Oh well...its all in a day.

I put it at the bottom of the first page.

One guy wrote to me telling me what he thought.

he was close but not close enough....he ended up being 5 inches off the floor...but I think I'm better at calculations based on wind direction, the gravity of the moon, and the spiritual forces within the universe than him.

This is not a valid answer! you are not to make your own riddle here.

If you are going to answer, answer regardless of how simple it is!

I already made an answer....whether its correct or not, depends on who you ask.

But, we don't own the threads or questions....the site does and they let us use this space for whatever reason within the realms of site policies, which they don't enforce anyway.

So...my riddle is valid and legal....and its a really tough one.

The answer to your riddle is either 14 or 5....unless you live in Galaxy 29 past the second dark hole...everything there is in reverse.

Its considered the southern half of the universe.

I don't agree with your reasoning. If your riddle is so good! start your own.

Okay...technically speaking.

you can take one from 12....and you could be saying take the one away and it could leave the number 2 or it could leave 11.

The same things would exist if you used the phrase : take away, instead of just take.

The same things would exist if you used the phrase: out of, or away from, or etc.

But, if you stated subtract 1 from 12....then the answer could only be...eleven.

Meaning there are two ways at deriving at two different answers where they could both be correct..

If you ad the 3 to the 12, and then taking a way one...giving the answer of 14....that's incorrect...because the specific method of leading to the correct answer clearly stated you have to start out by taking the I away first, from the 12....and then adding the 3...despite the answers in both scenario's are the same...

Had she given the answer first as 14, and then threw in the other associated numbers in to use and asked how did I derive at with what the answer is...saying ad the 3 to the 12 to equal 15, then subtracting one with lead to the answer....that would have been correct.

anyway...bumblebee went to bed around midnight....I'm Bob Hembrey, one of his writers and I'm filling in for the night shirt.
