There are plenty of us who believe in old school dating. But I dont date to just date. I date with the idea of relationship formation. So a few simple thoughts that get my positive attention:

1. I will drop hints that I no longer wish to email but rather actually meet someone. I give that a reasonable time, couple weeks at most, and if someone doesnt positively respond, time for me to move on.

2. I am very happy to take someone out several times, but there should be some hint after date 4-5 that someone isnt in it for a free meal, i.e. they are relationship oriented. Even a few words of encouragement help.

3. Cold fish dont get anywhere. I am not trying to get your clothes off right away, but for certain I am a touch type and cuddle person. Let the world work as it should.

4. Spend some time on yourself. Guys are visual. As sexist as it may sound, reality of life still says that hair, makeup, clothes, shoes, etc. have an effect on a guy.

5. Summary...its a two way street. If all I get are barriers and a cold shoulder, poof, I am gone.

And interesting to me at least, the op is looking for younger men and complaining about not finding gentlemen.

More people need to be honest, and meet in the real world.
