No matter the MOS... Female military personnel CAN do the job as good, if not better in some instances, as their male counterparts.

 Oh cup come on. You're so PC. In my military experience and for that matter as a fireman (firefighter for you PC folks) women were a hinderance rather than an asset. I suggest you stick to things you know about.

When I was in I didn’t work directly with any women, but working with the Vets in the aftermath, knowing the courage they showed. Talk to one who has had both legs and an arm blown off by an IED, then come back and talk shit about the women who serv. Don’t be an ass, support your sisters!

I worked with women in the military for over 20 years. Here are the realities:
1. Many women cannot get out of a fox hole without help. They do not have the upper body strength. On rifle ranges we had to install ladders so they could get back out after we put them in there for marksmanship training on the rifle ranges. Physically women are not well adapted to many of the rigors of the battlefield. On the other hand because women are generally smaller in stature with small hands there are tasks related to things like aircraft maintenance where their smaller size makes some tasks much easier. A good example is the anti-torque pedal adjustment on some helicopters. A man with large hands cannot do it because his big meat hooks won't fit in there while it is a piece of cake for most females.
2. Men and women are not only different sexually, the are different psychologically, emotionally, and with respect to hormones. Women distract men in many ways. Chiefly in terms of that nice a** marching ahead of you. Men think about having sex with women several times an hour. Having one nearby is an unwelcome distraction in a firefight.
3. A bit of a side note here but while many women have a sincere desire to serve the majority of women in the military are there for one of a few simple reasons. A big one is educational opportunities that men and women share. A close second is that about half of the women in uniform are AC-DC and not truly "women" by some accounts (that simple truth will freak out the PC crowd). Others want to snag a husband. I have seen all of these in real military life.
4. Most real men are raised to respect but also to protect and provide comfort and support to women and children. They will go as far as to risk their personal safety towards those ends, taking unreasonable chances they normally might not. That is why men were designed to go out and slay vicious dangerous beasts since the beginning of time while women characteristically kept the camp fires going, raised and nurtured the kids, gathered roots and berries and knawed on hides to soften them. Those fundamental roles have been with us and are part of our evolution since the first hominids walked upright. They are part of our natural evolution and define our capabilities and who we are.
These observations are not to say that some women can't serve in every military job including overt direct combat operations. A few can, and do. However, most can not. They are not physically, psychologically, or emotionally equipped to do a lot of things any more than most men are girly enough to lose all connection to reality breaking out in "oohs and ahhs" when someone brings a new baby into a room. Rather than fawn over a baby, most men would rather be out working, hunting, or fishing. Things that are a lot like engaging in war.
Many PC correct types and women's rights advocates will see these facts as coming from a Neanderthal and they will be correct. After all, like the Neanderthals, Homo Sapiens began natural human evolution millions of years ago and the differences between men and women are products of it. While men and women in modern society enjoy equal rights, they never have been and never will be equal in all respects or the same, and we can thank our Creator for that!

I was an airborne infantryman for 24 years, and worked with females when I was a drill sergeant at Ft. Jackson for three years (50% female trainees), and a ROTC instructor at Princeton for three years. I did not have one female that I believe could have made it in the infantry. During sick call each morning, I would say females made up at least 75% who would want to see the doc for something. At any given time, at least 75% of the soldiers on a physical profile limiting what they could do were females. The most weight they would carry in basic was I believe 25 or 35lbs. Most of the soldiers who would fall out were females. The final 12 miler would be drama central, the tears were flowing. I did not have a single female that I believe could have carried a 130 pound rucksack plus another 50 pounds of body armor, weapon, ammo, night vision, grenades, radio, ect up a mountain in Afghanistan for hours on end. And THEN be prepared to react to enemy fire any any moment, fire and maneuver towards the enemy to kill them, and then carry a wounded buddy down the mountain, with all their gear, to the PZ for the medivac dustoff so their buddy wouldn't die.
When you're on mission, set up in an ambush awake all night in 15 degree weather on 100% security if you have to piss or shit guess where you do it. Right f**king there where you are next to your buddy. How many females would pull down their panties and take a shit surrounded my males? How many would strip down naked on day 7 of a mission to change their underwear and wipe their body down with baby wipes to get somewhat clean, since there's no showers or port 'o potties on top of mountains or in the middle of a wide open desert?
The problem is most people, even people who have served, and the people in Washington making the decisions, have NO CLUE what the reality is in a combat arms unit. No clue at all. We aren't the IDF (I've trained with them in Israel) where they have female infantry, they operate in an urban environment, travel everywhere by vehicle, they don't have to live outdoors away from civilization with no bathrooms for weeks at a time. They don't have to carry 160 pounds on their body for endless miles. They even go home at the end of the day and take their weapon with them. You just can't compare that.

Women can't cut in the Infantry...hmmm...tell that to the 2 or 3K "All Woman Turkish Battle Group", that has taken 2 towns back from Isis, in the last 3 months...Tell that to the women in the Israeli Army....I have read stories of Women Battlefield Heroics during the 7 Day War.
I worked in a Mental Health unit a a local VA, Have dealt with many Women who have the same Physical and Emotional Battle Scar's, as Men. Women are constantly being drawn into combat in the middle east. And in all the Interviews I have done with Male Vet's, I only had 1 complain, about a Woman's ability to perform under fire.
Women bleed an die, and hurt, just like Men.
The whole "no Women in the Infantry mentality" kind of reminds me of the civil war, when it was thought that Black's could not cope with war.....
I will say this at this point though, the fastest growing unit in the Va Mental Health system, is the MST Unit, Military Sexual Trauma..when I started there 10 years ago, there was one Psychologist that dealt with this issue, when I retired from the VA 2 years ago there were 4. And it is not just women. I have sat in amazement listening to many stories of Rape's, that go unreported because it "may effect the Continuity of the Unit"??????? And unlike the civilian's, when some one is "attacked" they cannot just call the Mp's, they have to report it to the Company Commander, who's next promotion is based on the "Functional Continuity" of his Unit. So it is handled "internally" and in most cases there is little or no punishment. This has been on the new's frequently in the last couple of years and changes are being made, But it is till a sad reality...
