After watching the video and what Wild Bill had to say I couldn't agree more with Bill (Hodag).obama is going to try to push through a Resurrection of a modified version House bill that was passed by the US House in 1993 but not the senate.
The bill is listed as hr4269.If this bill is signed into law in any form it will be the start of the next revolution.

Below is the link to the text of the bill:

It may take a revolution against an oppressive government, just as it did in 1776.

I don't know if you watched that video, but if this bill gets signed by a**hole, the cost of ALL ammo will go up, by a LOT! Would a 500% tax be unthinkable? No. Not by a tyrannical dictator. NOTHING this puke would do will surprise me. If this gets passed, and we have every reason to believe it will, the current price of ammo will become a future wet dream.

There is something I would love to say right now, but if I did, I would very likely get an unwelcome visit.

Wild Bill is 100% credible. Watch the video, and decide for yourself what to do. As for me, when I see dark clouds gathering, hear distant thunder, and the wind picks up, I prepare for a storm.

What idiots. When the ban sunsetted the "govt" did a study. Conclusive, it was worthless. Plus the crime rate using so called "assault weapons" went up when the ban went in effect. It's telling the criminals, "hey use this, it's better!"

In the Marine Corps you are not required to follow any order that is either illegal or unconstitutional, with that being said "obama and his gun grabber friends can eat shit".

Semper Fi !!!

Conservatives, lawmakers and gun advocates are beginning to mount a defiant opposition to President Barack Obama’s plans to order expanded background checks for gun buyers.
The go-it-alone move signals “war,” Chicago radio host and former congressman Joe Walsh warns, calling it “time for civil disobedience.”
As the president announced he’d meet with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the gun order Monday, GOP presidential contender Mike Huckabee is already slamming the action.
“Obama’s executive orders on gun control… are also unconstitutional and completely insane,” he writes in a Facebook post.
“What’s worse though is this Republican-controlled Congress waves the white flag of surrender every time.”
The National Rifle Association didn’t immediately respond, but the influential advocacy group has previously said Obama’s “gun control agenda was rejected by Congress. Now, he is doing what he always does when he doesn’t get his way, defying the will of the people and using executive action,” The Daily Caller reports.
Another GOP presidential primary candidate, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, has preemptively moved to halt the president’s ability to enact new regulations.
Rand has introduced legislation that would decree any executive action on gun control that either infringes upon congressional authority or potentially violates the Second Amendment as “advisory only” until legislation that supported the action is passed by Congress, The Hill notes.
“In the United States, we do not have a king, but we do have a Constitution. We also have the Second Amendment, and I will fight tooth and nail to protect it,” Paul said in a statement earlier this week, the Hill reports.
The legislation is currently being fast-tracked through the Senate. It’s expected to be placed on the Senate calendar for lawmakers when they return to Washington from their recess.
The legislation would also allow for any state official, member of Congress or person affected by an executive action on gun control to launch a civil lawsuit.
Other conservatives are also outraged at the planned gun order, with Bloomberg writer Paul Barrett warning the executive action will only pour gasoline “on a fire already burning hot.”
“The timing of the expected Obama move on background checks guarantees it will receive a hostile reaction from gun-rights advocates, thousands of whom will gather next month in Las Vegas for the firearm industry’s annual Shooting, Hunting & Outdoor Trade Show,” he writes.
“While the enormous gathering in Las Vegas isn’t technically an NRA event, the group’s strong anti-Obama stance will almost certainly be evident there, and a fresh proposal to stiffen regulation may have the effect of pouring gasoline on a fire already burning hot.”
History professor Steve Byas, from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College in Moore, Okla., derides the attempt to close what’s been called the “gun-show loophole.”
“Obama and other gun-control advocates contend that they are not in favor of outright confiscation of privately owned guns, but rather just ‘common sense’ laws to stop mass shootings and other acts of ‘gun violence’,” he writes for New American.
“But as a glaring example that gun laws don’t stop criminals, despite California having some of the strictest gun control laws in the country — already mandating universal background checks for all gun purchases — Syed Farook and wife Tashfeen Malik were able to legally obtain firearms and kill 14 people in San Bernardino on December 2.”
“In short, closing the so-called gun show loophole would not have prevented the shooting spree in San Bernardino, yet that is what Obama called for in reaction to the massacre.”

Just in case anyone is unaware, there is no such thing as a "gun show loophole". That intentionally misleading phrase pertains to the legal sale of a firearm between two individuals. If I wanted to sell a gun to say, Sure Shot, I could. Selling a gun to someone known to be prohibited from owning a gun, such as a felon (or idiot politician?)is in itself a felony.

By "Closing the gun show loophole" would in effect make it a felony to even have a trusted friend or family member from even handling YOUR firearm. Even at a private range, a father, for example, having his 14 year old daughter shoot his single shot, bolt action .22, under his supervision, the father would be committing a felony under laws that HAVE ALREADY BEEN PROPOSED BY THE IDIOT GUN HATERS.

Never forget, the ultimate goal of all freedom hating politicians is complete gun prohibition, and any means to that end is acceptable to them.

President Obama is touting his new executive orders on gun control. Meanwhile, Obama’s home town of Chicago has every conceivable gun restriction in place, and there’s a shooting there every 3 hours. How can that be?

This executive order bullshit is bogus and down right illegal. The 2nd amendment is very plain and clear.
This is the liberal road to death of the 2nd amendment by way of a thousand cuts.
The 2nd amendment was put in place so the people could protect themselves from the government. The time has come to use that and take down the and bring back sanity to Wa DC.

These f**king a**hole are asking for a war. They'd better be careful what they wish for......they might just get it! obama and lynch can take their executive orders and shove them up their a** right along with their threats!

Semper Fi !!!

“We will be looking for those individuals who seek to avoid registering,” Attorney General Loretta Lynch told reporters following a Jan. 4 meeting with President Obama regarding executive gun control.

Lynch was referencing the portion of Obama’s pending executive-action gun-control measure that will require gun-sellers to register as federally licensed gun dealers if they meet criteria demonstrating they are “engaged in the business of dealing in firearms.”

This language also means that private sellers registered as federally licensed dealers will have to perform a background check on every sale.

One problem is that the White House executive action fact sheet does not present any numerical minimum on the number of sales that a private seller must conduct before he is considered to be “engaged in the business of dealing in firearms.”

Rather, it indicates a private seller can be considered to be “engaged in the business of selling firearms” regardless of the location from which she sells, the frequency with which he sells, or the number of guns ahe sells.

In light of this, CBS News reports that Attorney General Loretta Lynch is making it known that the ATF will be watching and looking for private sellers who “seek to avoid registering” as being “engaged in the business of selling firearms.”

Lynch stressed that an “exception” remains for “the hobbyist and collector,” but the executive order means private sellers cannot continue to “hide behind that [exception].”

Just goes to show that absolute power corrupts absolutely. Obama is guilty of exactly the same kind of abuse of power that he accused Bush of.

Semper Fi !!!

In point of fact - the Executive branch does justifiably have the power of executive order. However, the INTENTION is that any president will likely come into circumstances where the implementation of laws _passed by Congress_ will need clarification on their implementation or some function of government may need clarity in it's operation.

That is, executive orders are intended for clarity of operational details of _existing law and government functions_, not to create new defacto law and new government functions out of thin air by fiat and decree. THAT is the purview of Congress to determine the laws and functions of government. And certainly not to impose "laws" that have been rejected by Congress.

Our government is a representative form of government with Congress (specifically the House of Reps) as the people's representatives in government. As such that body was given the power to determine the creation of laws of the land. The President by executive order has been violating by fiat and decree the rights of the people to determine through their representatives the laws of the land. This is nothing less than dictatorship. It might be characterized as a banana republic.

The problem is how to adjudicate between legitimate use as described above versus dictatorship? One way might be to implement, perhaps by Constitutional Amendment, that no executive orders can be issued to implement legislative rejected by Congress.

Why is it that every time President Obama tells us how bad guns are, Americans go out and buy more of them?

A casual visit to Gander Mountain or Cabela's gun departments is pretty convincing evidence that the entire firearms industry has been doing quite well these past several months. I was in my local Gander Mountain a few days ago and saw a lady, probably in her mid 70's, walking out the door with a new Smith & Wesson. There is no such thing as a "typical gun owner" anymore. This lady appeared to be by herself, presumably a widow, and most likely decided a gun is the ultimate in "feminine protection". Open boarders, terrorism, releasing felons from prison, a tyrannical "president" and hostile government probably contributed to her making this purchase. I ordered a new gun about a month ago and I am still waiting for it. Ruger, like everyone else, is working 24/7 to keep up with demand. When obama first took office, Mark Levin didn't own any guns. He just said he now owns five.

The 1 Million Gun Challenge:

This past weekend marked the culmination of a year's worth of hard work and commitment from our customers, retailers, distributors and employees. Just about one year ago, I issued a challenge based upon Bill Ruger's previous goal of producing and selling 1 million firearms within a 12-month period. We wanted to help the NRA and the 1 Million Gun Challenge gave us a great way to do it. Last Friday, at the 141st NRA Annual Meeting & Convention, I was joined by Cassie Evins (winner of our "I Took the Challenge" contest) to present the NRA with a check for $1,253,700!

Cassie's story illustrated how learning to shoot a Ruger firearm transformed her life after she fell victim to a violent crime. Her story inspired not only everyone at Ruger, but also the rest of the country who voted for Cassie and made her our contest winner. Her story is just one example of the many inspiring stories we heard during the 1 Million Gun Challenge.

Throughout this past year, we heard from many of you who helped us make history by taking the challenge. At gun shops, through emails, at trade shows, and through our "I Took the Challenge" contest, it was evident that the challenge and its mission to help the NRA struck a chord with our customers. We believe we are the first firearm manufacturer to build and sell 1 million firearms in a 12-month period, and while we are thrilled with this accomplishment, hearing the stories that demonstrate the impact of the Second Amendment and our products have had on the lives of our consumers has been much more exciting.

Below are some figures that demonstrate everything that went into reaching this incredible feat:

· Roughly 1,400 Ruger employees worked tirelessly over the past year making product.
· 25 distributor locations shipped our product to retailers around the country.
· More than than 5,000 retail locations sold Ruger products.
· Around 1 million consumers (I know a bunch of you bought more than one) purchased a new Ruger firearm.
· Almost 1,500 consumers told their story through the "I Took the Challenge" contest.

Thank you to everyone who shared their stories and made the decision to purchase a Ruger firearm in support of the NRA and the 1 Million Gun Challenge. Together we all Made History - customers, retailers, distributors and employees - and we can all be proud of what we accomplished.

Thank you!

The story above is now several years old. Right now, Ruger is running a new challenge; 2 million sales, with a $2.00 contribution per sale to the NRA. I have no doubt Ruger will be handing a check to Wayne LaPierre and Chris Cox for over $4,000,000 at this years NRA meeting in Louisville, KY!
