I mean at the end of the date where you met in a public place...lol

I'm guessing if they don't care to walk you to your car at the end of the date, then they are really not that interested.
There won't be a second date either way.

They don't then just walk away. It's easy to be classy. They should know this from day one. Funny, how easy it can be to get "rewarded" well later on.

Not to get heavy but these things should be ingrained and they go beyond men/women. For example, walking an old lady across the street, giving up your seat to an older person on the subway, carrying something for someone, etc.... it is what someone with character does.

I stand up whenever I want her to notice my erection. If she is sitting down I stand right infront of her and smile when she trys not to stare.

I agree not to sweat the small stuff. Some things are excusable long enough to get through the date.

das...I think it's a generational behavior. Young men and women are not being mentored with manners and values. The boob tube, internet, and absentee parenting are contributing to the demise of the old school mentality.

Don't blame the guys too much. It's less and less wanted from women as time goes on. Old-fashioned chivalry isn't valued anymore.

I will do it if my date puts off vibes that she's an old-fashioned type. But, old-fashioned really isn't what I am looking for. Those old manners of holding doors open and such literally mean nothing. Guys will do it if it's expected of them, and that's all. There's nothing more to it than that.

A couple of points....if they both have equal potential value to each other....then what is he getting in return, if both of their presence is considered equal ???

and I don't mean sex or her presence, because his presence is there too.

And a person could say: no...its not asking too much, if she is like the women of the past who's image maybe they didn't quite live up to, but was the inspiration for men to do this.

Don't get me wrong, I was brought up when all that flourished and its kind of tradition and I'll admit there is something about a woman that can inspire those actions.

But...when you have been thru several email times, when something seemed good and ended up wasting your time...and was a wrong doing.

Or been thru enough relations where you did things right and went beyond the call of duty, and most turned out to be ones with issues and this and that and ended up a lost cause and waste of time and feelings and time and a couple were out and out fake liars.

It makes you wonder if your a fool to keep doing that.

I can't help being a certain way all my life....but I think if there is to be chivalry, then it should be the majority of women offer men what men want in the traditional ways and be worthy of that kind of tradition or actions.

In these times, in reality, that's not the case.

Many decided to take away some of what men want in a woman for your own causes or way of being, yet expect men to remain as they were.

If you've learned anything in life....that won't work out, it defies every known form of logic or reasoning....or right and wrong in the old fashioned sense of the words.

Yes, some men will go through the motions. In my fortunate experiences My mates have been genuine. They were old school who took pride in being a gentleman.
Maybe women are not showing their appreciation anymore?

Etiquette doesn't come by chance and values have always differed betwixt the generations.

I will still open the door.

If by chance the lady doesn't care for the courtesy extended she'd best be quicker to the door or to the punch.

bee...you know what bee? I actually agree with you

Women will do little things to show their appreciation. Such as, cooking a good meal, doing his laundry, tickets to the big game, taking time to say thank you with a smile and a hug, maybe even a sexy little negligee and a back rub...

Men do too...except for the sexy little negligee fix things around the house, romantic dinners...

I don't go out of my way to impress a lady acting like I'm something I'm not . I have met a few ladies that after meeting them I've said to myself wow I normally don't act that way I guess I seen something special in them .

It's always nice to make someone feel special without motive . Calling a lady beautiful and putting a smile on their face is a good feel to me a least.

Healthy expectations are a good thing...what I don't do is attach my expectations of how people should behave onto others...they're just that..mine..that's not gonna happen...people are who they are and they're gonna behave how they behave...that's why I say if I can live with it kewlllll if I cant I'm ok with that too and I move on...I have no expectation of someone living up to my expectations...they either embody what I am looking for or they don't and my expectations aren't gonna change it if they don't...

Ask inkpink out, silva. She is the perfect girl for you. I think you two are the perfect match for each other.

Are you shy, silva? Do you want me to ask her out for you? Do you want me to tell her that you want to ask her out? I will do that to help you out.

bee...you know what bee? I actually agree with you

Women will do little things to show their appreciation. Such as, cooking a good meal, doing his laundry, tickets to the big game, taking time to say thank you with a smile and a hug, maybe even a sexy little negligee and a back rub...

Men do too...except for the sexy little negligee fix things around the house, romantic dinners...

Well...I generally do the cooking and my own laundry, I watch the games on T.V.....I smile at her and hug her too. If she wears that, she'll get it back in spades in bed...and I know how to dress to turn a woman on....and I've never gotten a really good back rub before.

So....we're back to square one again.......

I also think Mortara & Skywatcher are cute together as a couple. You should give Mortara a chance to sleep with you, Skywatcher. He is a good match for you.

Sky, you are old & horny. He is old & horny. You two should definitely meet up to have sex.
