Has anyone been contacted by Social security about having your disability claim reviewed?
I worked almost 31 years until the pain in my body became unbearable!!!!
Worse, on the form they don't want your form fill out by a doctor!!!!
Well who else knows about my medical condition better than the doctors that I have been using???

I did a year ago. I've been working with the Office of Vocational Rehab though, so they didn't pursue it.

I hope things work out for you.

I have not worked in like 7 years. You know that employers will ask about that huge
employment gap.

I had them send me a review letter. They didn't ask my doctor either. I filled mine out myself and the next letter I received said that I was not under review. They didn't say why. Anyways, that's been my experience. Hope it works out for you

I don't think they trust doctors other than the ones they use to try and deny your claim?

1.) Don't panic!

2.) If you are still suffering from the same issues? Tell them, and add anything that may have gotten worse over time.

I started collecting in 2006 after an almost 3 year fight, I have never had a review though. Medical experts submitted testimony that I would only get worse, and I have.

Good Luck!

My ex will be paying all my bills and $500.00 per month until my house sells then he is ordered to pay me $1,500.00 per month plus my phone bill and internet (no reason why judge ordered the 2 bills) and now ex has asked I be ordered to apply for ssd.

Doesn't it go by my income? And for 1 person wouldn't I be DQ'ed?

Everybody gets review papers every 5 years..its an automatic thing..
Nothing to worry about

Yes
Your payments are measured from what you made in the last ten years
It's way less than if you retired at age 63

Everybody is only one person..
So no
That wouldn't disqualify you

But your probably better off if the judge orders your ex to continue paying

And maybe apply for Medicare

The wording of the order is $1,500.00 a month, and if ssd is less then he must make up the difference. As for work in the last 10 years I was tetired out in 07 and not worked. So looks like he pays.

I am worried actually because they kicked my little sister off. She is in more pain
and has issues that keep her from working.
Looks like this Monday, I am going to buy a health insurance plan.

so far I still have no insurance or have heard from social security.
My case is a reflection of case workers who don't know what they are doing or
that they are just looking to move as many cases as possable.

I think that a lot of caseworkers aren't aware of help that's out there. They expect you to do your own research on anything. That's been my experience anyway.
