Hey guys, so this is going to be long winded... So, grab some popcorn and a coke while you read this..
So, I'm way over my head in this... I volunteered to help a local doctor, I volunteer as a secretary at, keep her practice open. She's hurting financially because she's unlike most doctors in the area. She is not your average primary care doctor, she works mostly with people with low income & no insurance. And because she's so busy helping those in need, she is finding herself more in need than ever.
SO!!!!!
My plan? I want to do a fundraiser for her. She is beyond deserving of it. She's a great Christian woman and I believe the community will be more than supportive of her struggles once they realize her need.
I am in the process of setting up a classic car show and a treasure hunt. I need local businesses in the metro Atlanta area (preferably Cobb county area) that are willing to sponsor the car show/treasure hunt with prizes. Maybe you are the manager or owner of a local business that can give away a free service or a cash prize? Or maybe your business would like to be a part of the treasure hunt?
And I also need people who own classic cars who are willing to participate!
And last but not least, I need a place to host the event.
This is a tall order but I am sure there are people on here that are willing to help support a local doctor in keeping her doors open to those who need help the most. If not you, maybe you know someone who can or will help. So maybe spread the word?
