My brother and I play some word nerd games together online. I also have a couple of shoot-em-up game thingys but I got bored with those quickly. I also have several apps my nieces told me I ABSOLUTELY had to have. The three V's. Voxer, Viber and Venmo. I've put money in their accounts through Venmo. Still don't really understand how the other two work. <--- Decrepit old fart

itybit Garner, NC 50, joined Jan. 2009	My phone gets wonky sometimes so I don't use apps but my Grandson has downloaded several games, his fav being the one with the grandma on the skateboard (I forget the name). Houston , I've thought about starting a couple discussion threads but with the lack of participation and the things Houston mentioned in this group lately I'm sure they'd die a quick death. Just as a side note tho, I've not seen drama in here in a very long time, but it seems it's much more active in here when there is drama in here even tho everyone professes to hate it ETA: I think so many game threads also take away from participation [Edited 7/13/2016 3:50:29 PM ]

So you'd search that and then add as contact. It will also add people you have emails or phone numbers for, if they have Voxer. Then you can send text or use it like a walkie talkie

A couple of my friends from GA Chat are in my phone and the ones that have voxer are in my voxer contact list. Looking at THEIR contacts, I came across still more DH folks and their contact names and in some cases their real names. Their info is safe with me but it all seems a little invasive none the less. I don't like the voyeur feeling. So this is what social media is huh? I believe I will continue to skip out on the facebook stuff... OT I use my Kroger app at least once a week. Maybe more. Keeps up with my bonus points for discounts on already cheap gas.

It's like a more sophisticated version of Voxer. In China we have to have it. Not many people email or text, but EVERYONE uses WeChat. I communicate with my classroom parents using it, we can pay for things with it, you can make phone calls with it, or just leave voice messages or texts.

I have them linked so myfitnesspal accomodates calories for my exercise when it comes to what I eat and fitbit obviously tracks all my cardio and steps done for the day.
