Exactly it depends on the person. I had a hard time for a long time because I come from a very highly religious hell fire and brimstone back ground and on top of that I did not full understand what being transgender meant until a few years ago, so I went around totally confused and feeling like a screwed up nut case. but now that I know what I am and able to put the past behind I am very secure in my person and of course with my sexuality.

For me it would help to find a woman that treats me right while I'm still in her life. I know I love women, always have but any time one hurts me it makes me think and it does not help to hear, I told you so," from family or my best friend.

Sexuality is often a struggle in America because most of us have been taught that it is this bifurcated process of one either identifying as "straight" or "gay." What this fails to take into account is that human sexuality always has and likely always will run along a continuum with some being "very straight," "very gay," and most everyone else falling some where in between. Coming to terms with your sexuality, in it's truest sense, means accepting who you are and where you are at any given time in your life with the understanding that it change over the course of one's lifetime.

I was referring to Royals statement about how when something goes wrong in a relationship it does not help to have a family member or best friend tell you "I told you so". Which it almost never fails, anytime a relationship turns sour, and your get your heart ripped out and fed to the buzzards, there always seems to be at least one I'm smarter and better than you are clown either in your immediate family or a supposedly friend that just has to go "I told you so" as if they have never let their heart be bigger than their brain.

Thank you for saying this. To answer in my own words... i still to this day have times i question the word lesbian being used on me, that is, of course, until i see one that makes me want to.... you get the picture. Very rarely will a man do that to me. However, is easier to speak to men for me gay straight or otherwise until they hit on me which piques my interest until i realize there are no boobs. Long story short, sexuality is fluid. I by current terms an completely a lesbian. But given the right day you may find me a little less gay than other days. Given the right connection and person, i may not care. Haven't had that happen since i came out but I'm not going to sit here and act like it's not posdible... shit there are even some days i don't feel like a female while others i feel like the epidomy of femininity. Point blank: no, i dont think the majority of us ever do come to full terms with their sexuality.

I love this. I have decided to not label by myself. I have been fighting my attraction to females for a long time. I have decided not to fight any more and embrace it. I am currently with a man and have never been with a female, but my sexual empowerment tells me that I can be successful and happy with either.
