The name of this site is DH....hook up being part of that name.
Personally, I think that part of the name is what attracts many to be here....as in Free sex site, but you can be incognito, because it doesn't exactly say that in the title...it also says: dating.
There are people who are too messed up to want a relation from the toll of past relation and marriages, so they have issues and don't really want anything serious at this time, but they still want interaction with someone..likely in the form of a FWB.
So people with issues will be like how some are here, and perhaps they leave, but find they are still not ready for a "normal" site...who knows?
I figured out that this was the case about the site a month after I came here.

but part of it is too is.
There aren't too many forums where you can express this freely., there's few good forums out there.
When I was on POF, their forum was way too regulated, not only the mods and all their rules, but the people could delete a thread, if a certain amount voted for that in the first ten people who read it.
You couldn't have any fun there.
So this could be part of it too.
