We have had several Catholic posters come and go through here at DH. I can recall at least two of them that used deceit to get their point across, much like ludlow the perv.

One was called dennis, and had at least two different names here. She said that the word "church" Only showed up in the Bible three times. And that the word "catholic" was in the NT. Of course she was wrong on both counts. The word "church is English, so it wouldn't show up in the Ancient Koine Greek text. However, the Ancient Greek term 'ekklesia' which is often translated as "church" shows up in the NT 118 times.

Another Catholic who tried to set himself up as some kind of expert, would take the Modern Greek from the Blue Letter Bible web site and pass it off as Ancient Greek. When I exposed him for what he was he quickly tried to discredit me by checking on line for anything he could use against me. He found some old pictures of me graduating from college. He discovered my real name and posted it here on DH. I am not sure what he hoped to accomplish but whatever it was it didn't work. He seems to be gone now.

ludlow is no different. If he has trouble understand what I have posted or has no response, he simply makes up something he can understand and tries to represent that as what I had said. louie does the same thin, but in a little more deceitful way. louie actually reposts something I have said and then proceeds to misrepresent something else I have said. Neither of these Catholics are the brightest tools in the shed.

Be warned. If either of these guys tries to tell you something make sure they can back it up. Hot air is free and they have plenty of it.

Some examples...

In the thread "I and the Father are One"
********************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... Jesus specifically used an Aramaic word for Hell sixteen times in scripture, and He made it abundantly clear that there is eternal fire there.
********************************************************************************
Here ludlow perv pretends he knows something about the Aramaic text. He pretends that the Ancient word for "hell" is only found in the Aramaic, yet not found in the Ancient Koine Greek.

I asked him what was the Aramaic word for "hell." Of course he didn't answer because he doesn't know.

In the thread "There Is No "trinity" IN THE BIBLE"
********************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... Jesus came first for the lost sheep of Israel, but after that for the whole human race. This is why He commanded the apostles, just before He ascended into Heaven, to go to the ends of the world and preach the gospel.

If the gospel is for Jews only, why do you believe in it, Bigd? You're not Jewish.
********************************************************************************
Here ludlow is telling everyone I said the Gospel was for the Jews only. Of course that is not true.

Here is what I have found in my research in detail...

The Eight gospels of our Salvation

From "Does ALL mean ALL?" thread
********************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... Isna thinks His is too much of a weak marshmallow milquetoast to send anyone to Hell.
********************************************************************************
ludlow is making assumptions about what others think. As if he knows. Tell me ludlow, what am I thinking now?

From "Does ALL mean ALL?" thread
********************************************************************************
Quote from louie69332... Bigd also says that no one goes to Heaven but God himself, he is up there all by his lonesome
********************************************************************************
Another lie. I didn't say no one will ever go to heaven. I quoted John 3:13 & John 8:23.

Big difference.

If you want to argue with Jesus that is on you, louie.

From "Does ALL mean ALL?" thread
********************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... Your expectation is to sleep in a cold dark grace for an eon or two, then to become a brain dead soulless zombie who wanders the earth for a thousand years, then you go through a non-painful lake of fire for a couple of eons, then you come back and do it all over again, or some such. That's not much to hope for, Bigd.
********************************************************************************
Here ludlow is looking for loopholes in my belief system. I have tried to explain this to him several times. But he just doesn't get it. Perhaps he doesn't have the brain-power to process the information.

At any rate this is NOT what I said, and yet ludlow represents this as if I just told him.

Another lie, ludlow.

From "Does ALL mean ALL?" thread
********************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... The unsaved just simply cease to be when their bodies die, according to what you said last year.
********************************************************************************
Again, I have never said anything even remotely similar to what he has accused me of saying.

Not my words. Not what I said.

More lies

From 'Sheol' and 'Hades' Are Fireless thread
********************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... Kingman, Arizona is not in the Bible either. By your and Bigd's logic, it must not exist.
********************************************************************************
Both ludlow and louie have tried to apply this "logic." I said there is no "hell" in the Scriptures. So they have brought that idea into the ridiculous.

"hell" is supposed to be an ancient concept, according to ludlow and louie. Yet the Jews had no "hell." So there is no "hell" in the OT. There are a couple of English Bibles that translate 'hades' into "hell." Yet the majority of the English versions do not use the word "hell."

So if "hell" is as old as the Bible, why isn't it in the Bible?

I can tell you why "Arizona" is not in the Bible. Maybe you can figure it out yourself?

Again, this is something I never said.

Another lie.

From "There Is No "hell"... Nor Degrees of Punishment Therein"
********************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... The ancients knew that Sheoul or Hades was the abode of the dead. What they did not know was that fire existed there. But Isaiah affirmed that it did, and Jesus, an Eyewitness, afirmed that it did. To say that Hell does not exist because the ancients didn't know there was fire there is as ridiculous...
********************************************************************************
ludlow insists that there is proof in Isaiah to support his wild theory that there is fire in 'sheol.'

I have asked him several times for the chapter and verse, and he just ignores the question. I have searched Isaiah and found no reference to any fire in 'sheol.'

Most everything that ludlow has said about 'sheol' is false.

More lies.

From "Understanding the Ancient Hebrew Word She'ol" thread
*************************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... Then there is the Lake of Fire in Revelation---if it is forever, it is Hell. If it is temporary, like Bigd used to say, then it is Purgatory.
*************************************************************************************
I never said that. This is yet another false quotation made up by ludlow. This is what we call another in a very long list of Straw-man arguments.

Lies. Lies. Lies.

From "Understanding the Ancient Hebrew Word She'ol" thread
*************************************************************************************
Quote from ludlowlowell... When Jesus died He, according to the Apostles Creed, "descended into Hell" (He descended into Sheoul, that part of Sheoul known as Abraham's Bosom, or Limbo of the Fathers). When Jesus rose from the dead in the third day the souls in Abraham's Bosom rose with Him out of that place, and when Jesus ascended into Heaven these souls ascended with Him, and are now in Heaven.
*************************************************************************************
Now this one is pretty interesting. I have proven to both louie and ludlow time and again that the phrase "descended into Hell" does not appear in the original version of the Apostles Creed. It was added later by the Catholic church. This confuses Catholics because they are taught that the Catholic church doesn't lie, yet here is the lie in vivid black and white.

Here is the Apostle's Creed in what is called the Old Roman Form. Probably written about 140 ad.
http://www.reformed.org/documents/index.html?mainframe=http://www.reformed.org/documents/apostles_creed_orr.html

At any rate it is much older that the modern version that is used in the Catholic church today.

I believe in God the Father almighty;
and in Christ Jesus His only Son, our Lord,
Who was born from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary,
Who under Pontius Pilate was crucified and buried,
on the third day rose again from the dead,
ascended into heaven,
sits at the right hand of the Father,
whence he will come to judge the living and the dead;
and in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Church,
the remission of sins,
the resurrection of the flesh,
[life everlasting].

No mention of "hell," The Catholic church, or Jesus descending into "hell."

Now I am not an ogre. We all make mistakes. And when someone I am debating makes a mistake I expect them to own up to it and maybe, I don't know, apologize?

So as long as louie and lulow insist that they are right, I will consider this another lie.

There are many more examples of how ludlow and louie lie about what I have said and what the Scriptures say. They seem to live in their own world. they seem to have their own definition of reality.

And I really don't care what you or anyone else believes. That is your business. But when you try to bring your fantasies into the Bible, I will be here to set them straight.

The Catholics have this attitude of "entitlement." As if they cannot be questioned. Yet so many of their beliefs are questionable.

*************************************************************************************
Quote from deneez... It is easy for someone without any affiliation to any church to stand behind a rock and throw shots at you. You've aligned yourself with this Church, being neither hot nor cold...which is why some of the things brought forth from the both of them make me want to vomit.
*************************************************************************************
There was another woman who came on DH briefly. She called me arrogant because my beliefs were different than her's.

Perhaps the Catholics need to read the Constitution of the United States.
