On Mansion #1 (aka "heaven"), sometime in the future.
Jesus: Welcome Slowpoke. It's good to see you.
Slow: Thank you Jesus, it's good to be here.
Jesus: Slow, I have a question for you. When you were back on earth, why didn't you preach the gospel that I preached?
Slow: Well, Jesus, I guess it's like this. After you left, we sort of forgot all about that gospel, the one you taught. We quickly morphed into a new gospel, we called it "preaching the cross." It was all about your death and resurrection, the remission of sins, the atonement, and what we thought it all meant. And then too, Paul said...
(Jesus, interrupting...)
Wait. Paul? Paul who? I never had any apostles named Paul. I'm sure I'd remember if I did.
Slow: Well Jesus, Paul came along after you died claiming that he met you in a vision. We all believed him. Anyway, Paul said that we would be accursed if we preached any other gospel than the one he, Paul, gave us. I guess we were afraid of being accursed so we all fell in line with Paul and his new gospel. Frankly, we never gave your gospel any more thought after that. No one wanted to be accursed. In fact, I don't even think we know what your gospel was, the "glad tidings of the kingdom of God" and all.
Jesus: I see. So, how did that work out for you, preaching the cross for 2000 years?
Slow: Um, actually Jesus, not very well. The wars got bigger and bigger until finally we blew the place up.
Jesus: Hmm. I wonder what would have happened if you all had preached the gospel that I preached for 2000 years?
Slow: I guess we'll never know, Jesus.

Jesus to FJO: Why did you call some of my beloved children inferior and degenerate?
FJO: Well, um, er...
Jesus: And who exactly did you mean by this? Black people? Indians? Asians? Handicapped people?
FJO: Well, I...er....well...um...
Jesus: And why did you recognize 700,000 gods when both testaments said over and over that there is only one God, and only one begotten Son?
FJO: Bigd! Come help me! I need you to play some word games on this guy for me!

Indeed. Mentally ill people are often in denial of it. Our schizophrenic friend says, "The doctors said I had schizophrenia, but I don't."
But she does.
I'm going to block Lud as soon as the 24 hour time limit is up. I'd like to engage him in general but I don't want him derailing my threads with his calumny and disinformation about The Urantia Book. I wish I could just keep him from posting that crap on my threads but I can't, it's all or nothing as far as blocking goes. Ludlow does evil. As pope Francis said:
"We Catholics have some — and not some, many — who believe they possess the absolute truth and go ahead dirtying the other with calumny, with disinformation, and doing evil. They do evil. I say this because it is my Church." [The pope] further added that "fundamentalism is more idolatry than actual religion, warning that 'ideas and false certainties' can take the place of faith, love, and God." -Pope Francis

Jesus: Welcome to heaven, Slowpoke. It's good to see you.
Slow: Thank you Jesus, it's good to be here.

(Jesus, interrupting...)
Wait. Paul? Paul who? I never had any apostles named Paul. I'm sure I'd remember if I did.
Slow: Well Jesus, this guy named Paul came along after you died claiming that he met you in a vision. We all believed him. What choice did we have? Anyway, Paul said that we would be accursed if we preached any other gospel than the one he, Paul, gave us. I guess we were afraid of being accursed so we all fell in line with Paul and his new gospel. Frankly, we never gave your gospel any more thought after that. No one wanted to be accursed. In fact, I don't even think we know what your gospel was, the "glad tidings of the kingdom of God" and all. It's kind of mysterious, Jesus, whereas Paul's gospel was something we could really get into.
Jesus: I see. So, how did that work out for you, preaching the cross for 2000 years?
Slow: Um, actually Jesus, not very well. After 2000 years of preaching the cross gospel only one third of the world believed in You. We broke up into thousands of sects after we overthrew the Catholic tyranny and as you said, a house divided cannot stand. The other two thirds of the world apparently didn't find us and our replacement gospel appealing or believable. Then the wars got bigger and bigger until finally we blew the place up. I don't know what went wrong, Jesus. We had good intentions and we tried hard. For 2000 years we preached and preached and preached a gospel that You did not preach. I wonder what went wrong? Do you think that had anything to do with it? In retrospect, I guess we could have tried it your way, and preached the gospel that You preached, but we believed that if we just kept doing the same thing over and over, perhaps we could get a different result. I guess that's a definition of insanity, huh, Jesus?
Jesus: Hmm. Perhaps if you all had preached the gospel that I preached for 2000 years it would have turned out differently.
Slow: I guess we'll never know, Jesus, what might have happened if we had preached the gospel that you preached. Too late now. Let bygones be bygones. What's done is done. No sense in crying over spilled milk, and all that. You know, Jesus.

Which of Jesus' teachings do I reject?
You reject this one, for starters:
Jesus says:
"If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: (Mat 6:14)
But you say:
"God does not forgive everyone who forgives others. God forgives repentant sinners only. All others He punished very severely."
And you reject this one:
"Call no man your father upon the earth: "for one is your Father, which is in heaven." (Matthew 23:9)
And you reject this one:
"But thou, when thou prayest, ...pray to thy Father which is in secret." (Matthew 6:6)
But you say: "I would recommend that people pray sometimes to Mary or one of the saints... Let the prayer life have some variety."
You savor of Satan.
You do grave evil, as the pope says.
Please stay off my threads. I can't block you until tomorrow.

Don't act so stupid. You reject the loving and caring nature of God that Jesus divinely revealed and still believe and teach about God like the murderous Pharisees believed. Are you denying this is not the truth, Ludlow?

The poor man obviously has weak faith, or no faith. He needs our prayers.
Can you imagine the martyrs going to their deaths with the attitude, "oh, I don't have any absolute truths, I just willy-nilly think Jesus is a nice guy"?

Quote from ludlowlowell... Which of Jesus' teachings do I reject?
***********************************************************************
CLV Jn 3:13 And no one has ascended into heaven except He Who descends out of heaven, the Son of Mankind Who is in heaven.
CLV Jn 8:23 He said, then, to them, "You are of that which is below; I am of that which is above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
And if Jesus is God, as you have decided, then...
CLV Ezk 18:4 Lo, all the souls are Mine, As the soul of the father, So also the soul of the son--they are Mine, The soul that is sinning--it does die.
CLV Ex 20:4 You shall not make for yourself a carving nor any representation of that in the heavens above or that on the earth beneath, or that in the waters beneath the earth.
5 You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor be made to serve them, for I, Yahweh your Elohim, am a jealous El, visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons, on the third and on the fourth generation, to those hating Me,
There are many more but as this is not ludlow's judgment we don't have to endure the entire list.
The Catholic church lies and so does ludlow.

Weak faith may accomplish little but it has the capacity to grow while strong faith in that which is not true leads to destruction.

People who have weak faith can grow into stronger faith, yes. They can also grow in the other parts of the spiritual life. "Lord, I believe. Help thou my unbelief." But people with strong faith can, in the spiritual life, take off like a rocket ship.

David Moresh and Jum Jones had false faith. Catholics have the True Faith, the faith taught by their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
But Jesus is not your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He says you don't even love Him.
"If a man love me, he will keep my words."(John 14:23)
"He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings." (John 14:24)
And He says, ""Why call ye me, [your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ], and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46)
You are a phony. Pope Francis says what you have are "false certainties," not the true faith.
"We Catholics have some — and not some, many — [but one in particular named Ludlow Lowell], who believe they possess the absolute truth and go ahead dirtying the other with calumny, with disinformation, and doing evil. Quote from ludlowlowell... David Moresh and Jum Jones had false faith. Catholics have the True Faith, the faith taught by their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jum Jones?
Catholics don't kill themselves. The tend to kill others. The Catholic Inquisitions were proof of that.
The Catholic church lies and so does ludlow.
Yah, Lud was talking about people who have strong faith, like he thinks he does.
When I called him on it he switched over to saying they had "false faith."
But his own pope says Lud has "false certainties."
pope Francis:
"We Catholics have some — and not some, many — [but one in particular named Ludlow Lowell], who believe they possess the absolute truth and go ahead dirtying the other with calumny, with disinformation, and doing evil. They do evil. I say this because it is my Church." [The pope] further added that "fundamentalism is more idolatry than actual religion, warning that 'ideas and false certainties' can take the place of faith, love, and God."
Lud knows the pope is talking about traitors and malcontents like him because Lud lashes back at his pope and says this pope is the worst one in 500 years.
Did he unblock you?

I told him I didn't notice him moving any mountains. But he considers a miracle finding his keys. My back was healed when I was about 18. And I saw about 1000 or so other people who got healed in one afternoon. The Catholic church has never done anything like that.
He is a very sick man.
It doesn't matter if he blocks me or not. Not to me, anyway.
