I hadn't been on Facebook in a couple of years. Sunday I decided to see what I had been missing. A guy I used to date messaged me and wanted to know what went wrong between us. Well both my Great-grand parents and grand-parents were full blooded Italian,
Immigrants to NYC by way of "Elise Island" way back when. So my mom was Italian
too, born in NYC and I was born in NYC too, but only lived the as baby for 2 years
during WW II.
I Grow up eating lots of different home made Italian dishes, as well as some Mexican,
foods as I grow up in San Diego, CA, with a lot of Mexican influence.
Acutely I am 1/2 Italian and 1/2 German... with light Blond Hair as a kid that
turned brown as I got older and now a lil gray.
Great Grand parents came from Northern Italy, some where around Milano < ?
so my Grand mom and mom were both kind of natural reddish blonds hair.
I have never been to Italy, my sisters been there many time taking 2 to 3 trips a year.

I have spent 18 winters trip deep down in Mexico in the pasty 30 years.
But not for the past 6 years, as the travel cost have gotten higher
and Mexico is a lil bit crazier these days.
Can speak a lil very poor Spanish... but it's fading my memory fast.
