I'm going to get a lot of flack for this but here goes!
There is a marijuana initiative on the ballot in many states. It can take two forms either to legalize it for medical purposes or for recreational use which would include medical too.
Some of you might recall a few years back the big push in many states to allow casinos to operate. Besides casinos, racetracks were also allowed to operate some form of gambling like slot machines. I also believe that the idea was promoted to allow ubiquitous use of them maybe showing up in the bathrooms while taking a dump!
What in the hell is happening to this country? Are Americans so stressed out or psychologically screwed up they have to resort to legal drugs to make it through their day? And what kind of leisure activity is gambling?
I have always opposed gambling for very good reasons. Many people who engage in this activity are the kind who play the numbers and buy a basket of lotto tickets every week, those who can least afford it.
The same goes for pot. I don't believe that sucking in a lot of smoke from weed is going to be good for your lungs! You had better make sure you keep your Obamacare current. Another problem is how does it affect one's ability to drive a car? The studies of the effects of pot on the brain and physical functioning are on going without any clear conclusions yet.
Well their might be one positive result....it might cut down on road rage?
