It means that when. God blessed humanity with the final "New Testament" He gave humanity His promise free gratis (expecting no recompense) for His "grace" in blessing humanity of His own free will.

That sounds good, Cup, but it is ambiguous. Does God's grace mean that we still have to obey the ten commandments, or does it mean we can sin with impunity?

Obey. Jesus said he did NOT come to do away with the law.
He also referenced, at least, 6 of the 10 Commandments at one teaching in the NT.

The ten commandments still stand, you are correct on that. Some Christians think that the fact that they have faith means that they have a license to sin. Those Christians are in grave error.
